Happy Wednesday, My FS Peeps!
I just got home from my Orange Theory Fitness - feels almost normal! Deadlifts and goblet squats with lighter weight than I was using, but it is pretty darn good 90 days out from full hip replacement!
I hope to maintain the routine for a while until I have my other hip surgery which is planned for October 6th! Insurance deductible and out of pocket has been met for this year so now is the time! Surgeon says it is almost bone on bone so I plan not to wait until I am in pain.
Goals: 2020-2021
* Down on the Idiot Box while rebuilding muscle
* Bodyfat% reading with trainer once weight is down
* Drink at least 10-12 cups of fresh water/fluids daily
* Continue HIIT mixed in with weight lifting three to five days a week
* Keep up the training notebook to achieve progressive overload
Longer Range Goals:
*Bodyfat at 27% or less
*Longer range body fat goal is 25% - which at my age is great!
*Maintain 160lbs or less staying under goal weight in 2021
*Increased strength, endurance and flexibility during workout

Greetings my friendly followers!
SO happy to be back on FS today! July was an overwhelming work month, and the last two weeks I just needed down time.
I am back to logging and you will not believe my exercise!
I am about three months out from full hip replacement - yesterday I was back in my kayak on the river! I needed a little help in and out, but it was fabulous!
And, I have been back to my Orange Theory Fitness, too! I am doing elliptical, rower and some lighter weights to get back to it! And wore my favorite shirt on Friday!
My next goal is my bicycle - pedaling is fine but getting on and started is still a little difficult with the slight weakness in the surgery leg, but it will come

Greetings My Fabulous Followers!
I realize it may seem I am MIA but I have been working every day! I am a teaching assistant and have three modules in July which requires hours back to back on ZOOM. I will be working something like 26 days in a row!
Less exercise the last few days but looking to try my bicycle, and then kayak in a couple weeks! Hip feels great and I am completely mobile!
If you are considering a hip procedure, I say do it so you can relieve the pain. I am a new woman!
AND Leo says, PLAY BALL! We are waiting for baseball on July 24th!

Happy Week, my Fierce Followers!
Yippee! Seven weeks post hip surgery and I am getting better and better - little bits at a time. Elliptical today a tittle longer than last time, and I was able to do goblet squats for the first time! I have been doing upper body work and shoulders but it took time to get more lower body strength!
Now, I need to get my calories under control - seems harder right now.

Happy Holiday, my Fabulous Followers!
I am so happy right now I could cry! Although I have been walking three or four days a week, today was my first day back on the ELLIPTICAL! And, I did some weights, too. The hip felt pretty good.
About six weeks after hip surgery, I am desperate to get myself back into the routine and to feel a little more "normal".
