Greetings my Fresh Followers!

So, I just had two good workouts in a row and realize I can only hit Orange Theory Fitness for about one more week. I am sad as I am back in the routine I most love, and soon will have to stop as I recover from the second hip surgery on October 6th.

I also am part of a Turkey Challenge and am focusing on keeping my caloric deficit in mind every day.
Today: my BMR is 1498+506 (calories burned)= 2004 - 594 (calories consumed) = 1410 Caloric Deficit!

Happy New Week, My Favorite FS Followers!

I got through my four day "weekend" of work pretty well. I stayed perfectly on my food plan since I was at home working on Zoom. I got to exercise one of the days, and used other time to rest and hydrate during breaks.

The Idiot Box is moving very slowly, so I have now cut back calories even more and will continue until after I complete my weigh-in this Friday. I should be able to meet the surgical center's BMI number. I will be happy when I can eat well while eating a few more calories!

Happy Weekend, my Fabulous Followers:

I am working straight through this weekend as a teaching assistant and, though I love it, it can be exhausting so I am trying to do some good self-care with extra hydration and rest.

I can make it to Orange Theory after class today so that is great. The other days, I may try to use my home elliptical a little bit...or not.

I dropped my calories back down to what worked before for me just to get a quick drop for meeting the BMI for the surgery center! The weigh-in at the Pre-op physical is next Friday so I am sticking with it!

Greetings my fantastic FS people!

Sunday was a great kayak trip - we were on the river six hours with only one stop for about 30 minutes. Lots of paddling in to a head wind but I was ready for it! In the photo, I have the yellow paddle and the blue hat!

I am still going to Orange Theory and doing pretty well - I will miss it terribly again once the second hip surgery happens October 6th. My food is OK though I had too many calories for a couple days. My weight needs to be down four or five pounds by September 25th at the Pre-Op physical!

Any tricks beside dehydration to make that happen?

Happy Weekend, My FS Peeps:

I am excited to be leaving town tomorrow for one overnight to do a longer kayak trip on the Chippewa River on Sunday. This will likely be my last trip for the year.

I am going to Orange Theory Fitness three days a week for now and it;s going pretty well - still cannot use as much weight as I was using since my surgery leg is still healing. Elliptical, rowing machine and some floor upper body weights are rocking!

Food is going well - and I am eating one higher calorie day per week to try to move it along with a calorie stagger. I need to be down another 5 pounds within two weeks...not that easy for me so may need to do a couple fast days to meet the surgery center's BMI.
