Greetings my Fantastic Followers!
STAY WITH IT - HEALTH AND ENERGY IS THE GOAL!
I am starting another round of working many days in a row - I have clients during the week and do some teaching assistant classes over weekends, too.
Fortunately, I can get to the gym on Saturday in between trying to work, teach and get the house packed up for moving in June/July.
This time I am doing better self-care! I am getting more sleep, drinking more water, eating an average of 1200 calories a day and getting to the gym a minimum of three days each week - though once my hip feels "normal" I will push for four...

Shorter Range Goals:
* Down on the Idiot Box while rebuilding muscle
* Bodyfat% reading with trainer once weight is down
* Drink at least 10 cups of fresh water/fluids daily
* Continue HIIT mixed in with weight lifting three to five days a week
* Keep up the training notebook to achieve progressive overload
Longer Range Goals:
*Bodyfat at 27% or less
*Longer range body fat goal is 25% - which at my age is great!
*Maintain 160lbs or less staying under goal weight in 2021
*Increased strength, endurance and flexibility during workout

Happy New Week, my Fearless FatSecret Friends!
I just came from Orange Theory Fitness - my best workout so far during my hip rehab stint!
The classes at my OTF location are shortened to 45 minutes due to Covid because they need extra time to disinfect between classes. I burned 420 calories in about 40 minutes on the rowing machine, elliptical and some medicine ball work.
And, I am getting back to more water and enjoying my Seattle Sutton meals. They are balanced and full of fresh fruits, vegetables and decent fiber. I likely could use more protein overall but will see how I do within this calorie range before adding a protein shake.

Happy Day, My FS Peeps!
I am coming back to life! We are finally coming up from the minus 20 degree weather in Minneapolis so that helps. I am getting regular at Orange Theory Fitness and have been eating Seattle Sutton fresh meals.
And Yay! I got a new FITBIT too. Inspire 2!
I order the meals and enjoy the variety and taste - they include all fresh fruits and vegetables and are balanced meals for around 1200 calories each day. You do not have to shop, cook or add anything to them!
It is a great kickstart and I will do it for two weeks to get my BUTT KICKED!

Hello, Hello, Hello!
Yes, I am still around! I am happy to be "home." The last 90 days have been a whirlwind of worry, excitement, pain and pleasure! Sounds like a soap opera, right?
The biggest thing is planning, sorting, and packing. We are trying to get the house ready for sale as we will move to the Myrtle Beach area within four to five months. This involves moving my business and trying to get office space ahead of time so I have a business address for licenses, etc. This is the excitement coupled with the worry!
Although my left total hip replacement went well, Orange Theory has been open, then closed, then open, then closed. Minnesota's governor has been trying hard to prevent virus spread. This is the pain!
My eating was up and down as well, and my mood really dived. Fortunately, I could work using Telehealth and had two separate occasions when I did 18 days of work in row...insanity! Overworking and neglecting self-care is a pattern for me. This is also pain.
I have been back at Orange Theory for about a month and going slowly with any lower body work and the rowing machine. I was cleared to go back about two months ago but the gym was still closed here. I am SO happy to get regular again and my cardio is pretty good right now. I am working to increase the muscle on the left hip area. It is going well but slow.
Today I am starting 1200 calories a day with good counting using Seattle Sutton's plan. This is the pleasure!

Greetings, My favorite FS people!
I am working to get back to regular logging and counting every day. It helps with awareness of how many calories I am consuming.
I am healing SO quickly from my hip surgery! It is LESS than three weeks out and I am walking on my own already! I use a cane for stairs and getting in and out of my husband's car. This is amazingly fast compared to last time!
Obviously, I am not able to exercise yet...I am hoping to just do upper body arm work with weights eventually, but the surgeon has to give the "OK" before I can do anything. Orange Theory Fitness is probably 10 weeks away!
