I had a very hectic day. Everything went well except I did not eat enough because I was too busy. I ran and walked for an hour at the track. That is all I had time for today. I will fill in the details tomorrow.

I am a little disappointed becuase I only lost two pounds this week. I don't know why because two pounds is a reasonable amonut of weight to lose in a week. I guess I have gotten caugt up with the numbers. While the numbers are important they are not the end all of everything. My clothes are fitting better, my enrgy level is up, and so is my confidence. As far as the diet goes I have not eaten any junk food or fried foods. I think my problem lied in not eating enough during the day. When I reviewed for the week I realized I skipped quite a few meals due to lack of planning. I put my body into starvation mode. Today I am going to make all of my meals as stated in the book for this week and freeze them. When I stay busy I tend to forget about eating, then I get home and work out and that also kills my appetite. I am not giving my body enough fuel for the amount of exercising I am doing. I am also not eating much meat. I have really been relying on beans to get most of my protien. I am going to try to do better next week and see how it goes. After all, my goal is to lose 10 pounds a month and I have lost 9 so far in only two weeks.

Hi all,
Today has been a very hectic one. I spent most of the day doing homework. Then I went to church and I just got home. I have not had a chance to work out yet. I am going to ride my bike while watcing Life on NBC. I did not get a chance to weigh in either. I will do it in the morning. My clothes are fitting better and I have a lot of energy. My goal is to lose 10 pounds per month. I plan on reaching my goal by summer.

Hi Everyone,
Today went well, I made good food choices. I exercised for two hours. I had a positive attitude all day. I can't complain about anything. I am surprised that I have not had any cravings for chocolate. I normally would have eaten at least 8-10 king-size candy bars plus an ice cream waffle cone from Bruster's in the past two weeks. I love nutty coconut. We usually go after church on Sunday, and I have been known to go during the week as well. I am so glad to have you all as accountability partners. I don't think I could do it without you. Just knowing that I have the support of people going through the same experience and understand all the highs and lows of dieting. Family is always great to have as support, but in my case I can and have manipulated them to get my way as far as eating what I want. I am glad to have each of you looking out for me and giving advice and encouragement. I am going into week three tomorrow and I have not been able to stick to a healthy lifestyle this long in quite a while. Thanks to you all for your support.

Hi all,
I had the most fun exercising session today. I put on some music and just danced for one hour and ten minutes straight. It was great and I really felt the burn. For my second session, I rode my stationary bike for forty minutes. I also did some house work. I hope that counts for something. I ate well, meaning I made no bad food choices. I got home from class too late to eat dinner, so I had some fruit. I will try to plan better next time. I do so much better on my diet when I stay busy, and so far I have been doing well. I normally would have given up by now and had candy, chips and eaten out. Thanks to everyone for your support and accountability.
