Hey out there anyone doing anything fun today? I am sitting at home feeling bored. I am about to go exercise in a little while. I volunteered at church this morning. We gave out food to the needy for Thanksgiving. I ate some yogurt for breakfast and fruit salad for lunch. I don't know what I am going to eat for dinner yet. I think I may make a veggie pizza using a flat bread for the crust. The way I make the pizza it has only about 300 calories for a whole pizza and it is very filling. I will have some grapes also. I have been drinking water for a month with all of my meals. I had crystal light only a couple of times. I stopped drinking sodas about five years ago, before the diet I only drank sodas occasionally. I think my problem lied in eating alot of icecream and candy bars. I have not eaten any candy in a month. I found some "Skinny Cow" ice cream bars I have one every now and then when I want something sweet. They are really good for only 100 calories.

Today went well for me. I ate a fruit and yogurt parfait from Mc Donalds. It tasted good for only 160 calories. (130 if you skip the granola). I had an orange and some almonds for am snack. I had chinese veggies and hot and sour soup for dinner. I had a small apple and peanut butter for my pm snack. I did not eat lunch today because I was not very hungry and my throat is still irritated. I have yet to exercise, but I am going to when I finish this post. I found a great book called The Weight Loss Bible. I have not finished reading it yet, but I like what I see so far. Any opinions about it? It has some great recipes that I want to try for Thanksgiving. I have decided to post my weigh-ins to every two weeks instead of weekly. I notice changes in the way my clothes fit, but the scale fluctuates too much and I don't want to risk getting discouraged by a number. All of my clothes are gettig too loose and the next smaller size I have is starting to fit, so I m going to go by that until I weigh in again.

This is going to be a very busy week for me.Today, I had registration for next semester and tomorrow I have to do an observation at an elementary school for one of my classes. It is a P.E. class so I will be doing some P.E. with the children. I will get to work out when I come home from class tomorrow night. I don't even want to think about Thanksgiving, we are hosting some single soldiers who can't go home for the holiday. I will be cooking a huge amount of food. I plan on cooking only the desserts I don't like so I won't be tempted to eat sweets. I am going to have a couple of tablespoons of stuffing and turkey and three servings of vegetables. I won't overeat because I find it hard to overeat when others are around. I will workout an extra hour to offset any extra calories. With you all as my support I have no doubt Thanksgiving eating will be a breeze.
