Good news/Bad news. I did not eat as much as i usually would have, but I did eat some sweets. I ate cake and peach cobbler. I made cakes even though I said I would only make desserts I do not like. I thought my guest would eat all of the cake before they left. They did not. I gave the rest of the cake away to my neighbors so Iwould not be tempted to eat anymore. I also realized Thanksgiving is over and I can let go of the regrets and keep on heading toward my goal. I did not work out yesterday, but I made up for it today. I start a fast on the 25, so I will ony have fruit veggies and water for three days. I may extend it for the whole week depending on my level of energy. Thanks to all for your support.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! I have been busy baking all day. I skipped breakfast and lunch. Saving the calories for tomorrow. Just kidding. I just did not have the time. I saw a story on the
today show that was downright scary. The story involved Thanksgiving and how people will eat on average 5000 calories for Thanksgiving dinner. I think that is going to make me more self aware about what I choose to put in my mouth tomorrow. I will work out before I go to bed on Thanksgiving and I may go to the gym on Friday.

Busy, busy, busy day! I exercised twice today 75 minutes each. I went to the grocery store, prepped for Thanksgiving, went to a meeting at church only to find it was cancelled. While I was in town I went to Wal-Mart to pick up a few items for Thursday. I did not eat enough today, only turkey chili and a fruit and yogurt parfait. I will try to do better tommmorow.

I did not get a chance to work out today. I had an assignment due for my children's literature class. I finished the assignment and that is one less thing I do not have to be concerned about. I will try to get in an exrta two hours sometime this week to offset my miss today. I kind of slacked off on eating today as well. I skipped breakfast a big no-no, my throat is still a little scratchy. I made some peppermint tea and that soothed mt throat a lot. I don't like taking medicine. I ate turkey chili for lunch with some veggie crisps. For dinner, I had a veggie pizza made with flat bread, (90 calories) mushrooms, spinach, and tomato with low skim mozzarella(about two tablespoons). I also added two tablespoons of salsa. For snack I had 1/2 apple and peanut butter. I also had a handful of nuts. I don't know if I ate too many calories, but I don't think I did. I am for sure goin to get on track after Thanksgiving. Wev are going on a fast next week at church only fruits, veggies, 100% juice, and water. I will also use the oppurtunity to get focused on my goals and pray for strength to make it through the Holidays.
