Greeting peeps,

Just for Today, I Commit to My Food Plan. (OMAD)

I am doing OK and staying on track. No walking today - rest day.
I did a good amount of food prep today, and will have things ready to go.

HERE's something new... I have left food on my dinner plate two nights in a row which means I am STOPPING when full instead of thinking I have to finish everything. I am sure I was taught that as a child. SO getting more conscious eating habits.

* Down on the Idiot Box while rebuilding muscle
* Bodyfat% reading with trainer once weight is down
* Drink at least 8-10 cups of fresh water/fluids daily
* Continue HIIT mixed in with weight lifting three to five days a week
* Keep up the training notebook to achieve progressive overload

Happy new Week FS Buddies,

Just For Today, I Commit to My Food Plan. I did very good with the exception of 10 - count them - 10 McDonald's Fries which my husband brought home as part of his lunch!

I think the smell took over - but I counted them out, weighed and logged exactly 10 fries! It's about portion control and staying well within my calorie window.

I walked the beach for 50 minutes today at a brisk pace - well brisk for a short woman with short legs! I feel determined to make the most of the next eight weeks before vacation.

Happy Sunday my FS Friends,

Just For Today, I Commit to Staying on My Food Plan. I have some meal prep of healthy choices ready - just got some cod from the fish market where they will blacken season and grill it for me! It is three servings for the week. They might become fish tacos...

I am down 2.3 on the Idiot Box since last Sunday. OMAD seems to be working well right now. I am so relieved to see movement on the box, and hopeful I will reach my goal for my Italy trip in October...which would be 10 more pounds in the next eight weeks.

I had a great twilight kayak trip with the kayak club last night, and I walked the beach today for 30 minutes! I still hope to bicycle tomorrow some time.

Greetings, Happy Weekend!

Just for Today, I Commit to Staying on My Food Plan. (OMAD)

Idiot Box was down 2.1 pounds since last Friday - not sure it will stick but I think the OMAD is contributing. I do three or four times each week. On work days, I do 18/6 IF.

SO, I have been back to following Tom Venuto's food ideas. He shoots for a lean protein, a fibrous carb (usually green) and a starchy carb (brown rice, potato, corn, pasta) for every meal. When I do OMAD, I use his model. He also believes a little more fat is essential for metabolic processes.

Good Evening,

Just for Today, I Commit to Staying on My Food Plan. (OMAD)

I am done with work for the week. I hope to make another try at kayaking with the club as long as the weather cooperates - we use ocean inlets that are effected by tides and wind. We also have not bicycled much because it is still much too warm here.

I am walking while wearing my actual walking SAS shoes trying to break them in for longer walks in preparation for Italy and the walking we will do sightseeing!

By the way, SAS shoes are San Antonio Shoes. They are pricey but totally worth it! My walking shoes are so incredibly comfortable!

I am operating in deficit, and the Idiot Box has a downward trend. Loss goal for each week is at least 1.25lbs.
