Greetings my friends!

Just for Today, I Commit to Staying On My Food Plan! I have been eating quality foods so I am feeling well.

I am counting down weeks before my Italy trip in October. My hope is to lose about 1.25 lbs each week consistently for the next 10 weeks.

When I do it, which I will damn it, I will have dropped 25 pounds since my restart in June, and before my trip. That should make walking all over a hell of a lot easier!

Picture is one of my cats years ago at the vet where they gave her a crown!

Current Goals:
* Down on the Idiot Box while rebuilding muscle
* Bodyfat% reading with trainer once weight is down
* Drink at least 8-10 cups of fresh water/fluids daily
* Continue HIIT mixed in with weight lifting three to five days a week
* Keep up the training notebook to achieve progressive overload

Buona sera amici,

Just for Today, I Commit to Staying on My Food Plan. I have felt very positive the last two days. I enjoy being productive. I got some yard work done and we walked today, and I got groceries and laundry done. (IF was 18/6)

My FAT SECRET is to give up the idea of diet forever. It seems like a no-brainer, but I am now eating foods I like but within my calorie deficit.

The BIGGEST lesson is learning to eat things I like (starchy carbs like pasta, potato, rice, breads) in SMALL portions right now which is my preparation for being able to eat them in moderation once I reach my goal again.

No more restrictions means I MUST learn portion control now. Wish me luck!

Happy Weekend my FS buddies,

Just for Today, I Commit to Staying on My Food Plan. Idiot Box moved down again for the week. Being in one day at a time and eating one meal at a time is helping. (Today IF 20/4)

Kayak sunset paddle got cancelled last night. We usually go into the coastal waterway which is governed by tides and wind. It was much too windy so the club cancelled.

Today, my friend wants to go to an axe throwing place! Anyone ever done that?

I plan to do some yardwork and hopefully get some additional movement in today.

Greetings my "Buddies",

Just for Today, I Commit to Staying on my Food Plan...without modifications.

I have been on this site so long, there was a time when we called our followers "buddies". And, people did not post food pictures all day either.

I am trying to lose about 1.5 pounds per week...it should be a hell of a lot easier that it has been! Idiot Box is just not moving as much as I hope. Time to increase the calorie expenditure in exercise.

Happy mid-week my FS Followers:

Just for Today, I commit to Staying on my Food Plan. I am fortunate to not have work again until next week.

I have a trip planned with the kayak club - another sunset paddle. I am also hoping to get my walking in before or after it is too hot during the day. I would like to get on the bicycle sometime this weekend, too, but we also have a lot of yarkwork to do...and there's always the BEACH!

Staying Active is good for me! Lots of NEAT going on at times.
