Losing 2.9 kg a Week

Tomorrow's weigh in will be interesting. I averaged at or above 1600 calories this week and for the first time, one day at 2000 calories. On top of that, being sick prevented me from doing a lot of exercises I had been doing. Will be interesting to see how that influences the scale tomorrow. Not really upset about it...good spirits and physically doing much better.
Had "clean out the fridge" stir fry with cauliflower, green onion, cabbage, and bell pepper. Made sauce with low sodium soy sauce, fish sauce, toasted sesame oil, and red pepper flakes. Roomie liked it and made a request this week: stuffed bell peppers. Yesterday's cabbage rolls made him nostalgic too, and he's thinking of HIS mama's and grandmother's cooking.
Hey, I haven't had stuffed bell peppers in over 30 years, so I'm game. His family did not add cheese...my mama put cheddar in hers. We'll see how it goes!
Noticing that so many of us had a "Blah" week physically. Adding a special prayer intention tonight in our novena.

I love candles in cool weather. Sitting here with the lights off and 4 candles burning.
Binky-puppy is too little to make it onto the couch by herself. We have little stairs so she can get up by herself. Sitting here cuddling together under a blankie.
Made cabbage rolls tonight. Combined mother's and grandmother's recipes (too much butter!) with online recipes. Was very fulfilling. What is it about passed loved one's recipes that bring us comfort? I feel like they are smiling down from heaven.

Feeling much better today. Took a prepped chicken dish out of the freezer and then roasted fresh green beans.
Last night, Binky was well behaved in her bumblebee costume. We took a short walk. A friend gave us an "angel wings" costume for All Saints Day, but it is too big for Binky.
Excited to have my PT next Tuesday afternoon. I want extra strategies to increase my flexibility and strength. Sometimes (today not one of them) I just want to go for a walk or do something active, but my hip pain prevents me from doing so. I used to be fairly active and being forced to slow down is hard.
I look at the people I have met here on FS and I am just so thankful. I have learned so much in a couple of months and feel that the friends here on FS help keep me accountable. The support really helps lift you up!
