Its HUMP DAY!!

Ok, third times a charm?? I have deleted 3 journals by accident this morning.

Lets see if I can get one posted!!

Yesterday was me and the Hubby's 20th anniversary. Can't believe its been that long..lol! He is the love of my life, and my soul mate. He supports me no matter what I do. I just hope we can get another 20 in!! lol!

I had wanted to make him some buckskins and me a dress, for our 20th, and to renew our vows, Native American style, but that just didn't happen. Oh well.

I had written in the last 3 journals that I had deleted, about how your positive attitude is important on your weight loss journey. About how to let go of that feeling of defeat when you trip up a little, and that its important to let it go, and to move on. There are so many of us here on FS that need to be reminded of that.

Just let it go. It was a momentary lapse, that's over and gone. Move forward!! Don't dwell on the indiscretion. Acknowledge it, and put it behind you. Move forward! Do not let that keep you from continuing on. You are not a failure, you didn't ruin anything, you didn't fail. That's important. YOU DIDN'T FAIL!

I saw a few journal's this morning of people who thought they ruined their diet, or totally blew their diet. Some of them my just have needed an excuse to go back to the old way of eating, and to blame the diet. The important thing is, YOU DIDN'T FAIL!

I know its easier said than done, and believe me when I say I've been there, but...
Pick yourself up, Dust yourself off, And GET RIGHT BACK to doing what was working for you!!

I've tripped so many times it just isn't funny. I try my hardest to keep that positive attitude, that I CAN DO THIS!!

An so can you!! I'm here, to help anyone who needs a hand up, and to dust you off and cheer you on!! We are all on this journey together, and we need each other to get to our goals!

I think I've been keeping on track pretty much. I still get those little cravings, like just now, I ate 4 thin mint cookies. I'm still here, I didn't magically gain all my lost weight back. I enjoyed them, and now I'm going to find some thing to do. Like crochet some more on a sweater I'm working on, or go for a walk in the rain.

So, after that little journal, I'm off, to see what trouble I can get into..lol!! Have a wonderful day!!

Good morning Beautifuls!!
It's a lovely cool Tuesday morning!!
Time to get up and get to it!!

Got my first cup of coffee done, and will be heading for the second soon. Seems like I have to share my "new" chair that we picked up on Friday from the thrift shop. Ginger has the hassock,Sweetie is laying on the top of the back, and Tootsie is on my lap.So much for it being "mommies" chair! Gotta love em though!! All my furbabies make my day! Wouldn't have it any other way.

Been having some issues with these stupid teeth. They don't fit right, and I have to use dental adhesive to keep them from flopping around. Most days a bunch of it. ewww. I kind of regret going to Affordable Dentures, but that was the only place I could go that didn't want an arm and a leg just for some teeth. Oh well, live and learn.

I have some beef stew meat in the crock pot this morning. I just love that thing!! Kind of like those infomercials...Just set it and forget it! lol! I'll be adding some red potatoes this after noon for the hubby, and some onions and cauliflower for me. I did that last night with the chicken thighs. Yum!! That chicken gets so tender that it practically melts in your mouth!! lol! I usually get the boneless skinless thighs to use instead of the breast. To me it has more flavor. I have been looking for turkey thighs, but can't find those. One of those would make dinner for both of us!

I think I'll go get some housework done today. I am hoping that we can get started this weekend rebuilding my veggie garden bed. Can't wait!! I have the little 'tater bin in, and am hoping to see some sprouting soon! I have a whole bail of straw in the garage, that I had left over from the winter, plus the little bit of extra from stuffing the cat shelter on the driveway side of the house. Hope this works!!

It's kind of windy outside, I was also planning on taking a good walk today. We'll see.

Monday, Dr weigh in day. 264! This is a good start. She was pleased with me, and didn't thing the drop was that fast. I do, but hey. Any hoo.. I got a visit this morning from my niece who lives in North Carolina. She stopped by on the way home. so I could see her daughter Em, who I haven't seen since last summer! It was a really nice surprise for a monday...lol!! She is getting soo big!!

ATF: Doing good today, missed my breakfast sort of, by going to the DR, but made myself a nice salad for lunch. They should have an exercise calorie count for trying to eat Romaine lettuce with false teeth!! Man, was that some work out...lol!! And it was only 3 leaves, that I had torn into chunks! Hope the inner leaves get more tender..lol! But it was good!

Have boneless, skinless chicken thighs(4) in the crock pot for supper. MMMM! That, and some cucumber salad and maybe some peas. Good dinner!!

Well, I'm off. Got a bunch of things pending in the to do list for today!! Getting some clothes washed, running the sweeper...etc.

It's a beautiful Saturday!!
The sun is shining, and it is 72 already, with high today of about 80! Then it's back to the 60's and rainy tomorrow! :/ Oh well, you know how that's why they call it spring....the temperature bounces around like crasy!! lol!!

The hubby and I went to Ryan's last night for dinner. I think I did well. I recorded spoonfuls for my portions, but I took less than that. I tried to remember all I had. I had only had like 300 odd calories by then, (just wasn't hungry) so I knew I could push a little. My little push was the serving of bread pudding. OMG. I must say it was a delight! But I had more veggies than meat. I forgot to add the chopped kale, but that wasn't much in the way of calories.

Picked up my chair last night! I'm now having to evict cats from that chair AND the foot stool...lol! The hubby had fallen asleep on the couch, watching the boob tube, and I ended up having to move things around by myself, which was OK. I got one heck of a work out!! I'm enjoying it now, getting updated here on FS with my "other" family! I got a little crochet in this morning while I had my coffee, after I had to kick Mollie out of the chair..lol!

I have no clue on what to make for supper tonight. I'm out of chicken thighs, and think I just may do the stew beef in onions in the crock-pot. I'll get to writing out that shopping list too...I hope!!
