Monday weigh in at the Dr office, back up to 264. I have no problem with that. Not much exercise the last few days, unless you count trying to rake and cut the grass yesterday. I didn't do much, wasn't out of breath or didn't break a sweat. It was a little stressful, as we had been missing a feral for a while. Unfortunately, we found what was left of him yesterday, in my basement, near the door. There was some old plastic tarp there, and that masked some of the odor, so we didn't notice it. Poor boy. At least we buried him, and can stop wondering where he went. Now we just have to wonder where Murrilin went. Haven't seen her either in almost the same amount of time.

It was just a crappy not keep track weekend. Thats probably why I went back up too. We went to Bob Evan's on Friday night, and I got a salad. All well and good, but it was a late night munch problem all weekend. I really have to get a handle on that, plus the hubby bought some Blue Bunny Red Velvet ice cream. NOT a good purchase!! (it is awesome though!)

I am finally getting more use to these dentures. I have a bad thing right now on wanting to eat "crunchy" stuff!! This too shall pass!! I think its just a kind of novelty to me that I can eat that stuff now...lol!

I made sure I bought some cauliflower, carrots, romaine, zucchini, and green onions, to throw in my steamer and eat for supper, or lunch, or eat it raw whenever.

I'm having a little bit of a blue day today, it has been a little cool, and overcast for the most part today. I ended up taking the car to day, so I'm waiting for the hubby to buzz and tell me he's finished work. Sometimes I get so sleepy just before I have to go pick him up...lol!
Maybe I'll take a tiny nap in my new chair!

I somehow missed making a journal for Friday...lol. :/

Anyhoo....man you HAVE to love West Virginia weather..all of 46 degrees F today. I always tell people, just wait a few minutes, the weather will change..lol. I expected it to get a tad chilly. That's why they call it Spring...the temperature bounces all over the place!!

It would have to be that damp chilly too, the kind that hurts everything. UGH! I'll be ok, just have to trek along and keep moving!! When its chilly like this, if I'm out and about, and I stop or sit for a minute or two, man do I get creaky trying to get started again!! Kind of funny though. Sometimes I even have an accompanying creak!! The looks I get are too much when someone actually hears that!

I think I did really well yesterday, food wise. I am noticing a trend, that I am not eating much in the morning, or early afternoon, and am eating more in the evenings. Now, I am losing still, but this isn't a good pattern for me to stay in. I'm a little tired until I eat supper, then I get that energy from it. Then I want to do all kinds of things.

The problem is, I get that boost around 8pm and the hubbs is tuckerd out from work, so I'm stuck in the house more or less. Then its roam around the house thinking I'm still hungry, looking for somehthing to munch on.
Can you say "DANGER,DANGER DANGER WILL ROBINSON DANGER" lol!! I sat here last night, looking at my eating chart, and thats what ran through my head. Of course, the hubby was watching Lost in Space at the time too...lol!

I have to watch that. I'm making a nice list of things I can pop in my steamer and eat, high in bulk, low in calories, that's filling and tasty.
I was surprised with the romaine lettuce. I tried eating that, because I love it, and found that it isn't the most compatible food for these dentures. :( So....I threw some in the steamer with some tomatoes and cauliflower and was mighty surprised at the taste! Yum! I love my steamer!!

I'm going to head off now, the hubby had to work this morning, and I hope he will be getting home soon. *sigh* the life of a master plumbers wife!!

Happy Thursday all!

Today was a weigh in day for me. Down 3 since Monday. I haven't been eating much through the day, because I just wasn't hungry. I sure am today though!


Haven't been feeling up to snuff today either. So, lazy lunch day it is. Cup of noodles, and egg, and some cheese. Lots of calories, but well within reason. Besides, everything I had that I could steam, is gone. So easy lazy lunch. We all have those days sometimes, and its ok to do so. Just remember that you need to stay mostly within your calorie or eating range. I'm going to consider today my "off" day, and track back tomorrow.

I think its because its a tad chilly here today, and kind of overcast. Makes for a blah day. Think I'll make the Hubby Chicken nuggets for supper. I am going to make me some spinach and bacon...lol!
