Today was W5D2 of C25K. I was really nervous today about running 8 minutes straight....twice. Well, to my amazement....I DID IT! The first 8 minutes was actually a breeze! It was over before I knew it. The second 8 minute run was a little tough, especially the last 4 or 5 minutes of it. But I pushed myself and made it through it. Very proud of myself. Wednesday will be the last day of week 5, and the program for that day is to run (jog) 20 minutes straight! AHHHHH!!! I don't know about that yet. I am going to give it my all and hopefully do it, if not, I will just repeat that day until I can run for 20 minutes straight. But I am pretty sure I can do it. Also, today I am making some baked apple chips, I am hoping that will help with my sweet tooth at night.
Just a note: Had to add this to my journal so I can look back and remember this...Nick made a prediction that Miguel Cabrerra will have a good season and Carlos Guillen will have a horrible season. Nick always makes these crazy predictions, so I am gonna start writing them down!

Took my measurements today. I wish I would have taken them when I started. I am really starting to tell a difference in my clothes and people are beginning to tell me that they can tell I am losing weight! Even though the scale isn't showing much of a loss.....that's ok though, I am going to the gym 6 days per week and giving it all I can each time I go!! Can't wait to check in a month to see if I have lost some inches!

Had a really good work out today at the gym. Really starting to amaze myself with the things I can really do and how I can push myself. I completed W3D2 of Couch to 5k today. Never did I think I would be able to run for 3 minutes straight.....but I did..twice! After that 25 minute workout I then went on the Elliptical for another 30 minutes. My toes were numb, but I did it. I wanted to stop after 5 minutes and convinced myself to go 15 minutes, when I reached 15 minutes, then I decided to go ahead and burn 200 calories, then when I did, I said, oh well, just finish the damn 30 minutes...and I did and burned another 100 calories! For a total of 305 calories burned.....whew. Now my legs are sore but I feel accomplished today! I have never written in a "journal" so hopefully this will help me with my journey! Just remember....'you FEEL good after you workout'...LOL!!!
