Saw my sister today and she looks great! So happy to see her and her hubby. I found out he likes red beet eggs, so I made him a batch. Gave sis some fresh eggs and cute little items I got from Temu. (Yep, I'm guilty of getting hooked on the online dollar store, but hubby's getting hooked on it too.) I don't use the app though, I just go online and shop. I thought I'd like to look like her. Then I started thinking what else can I do....Yep, enforce the salad for lunch idea...Then I realized, I didn't exercise at lunch like I used to do at work when I was loosing the weight with ease. I've got to get back to that. Why not? I have a stationary bike I can ride. I think I'm up to it. Just have to setup my schedule.

Was supposed to have a nice salad for lunch. Opened the fridge and saw some left over steak and broccoli fried rice, that I made for hubby yesterday.

This is what happens when there is no room in the fridge. I have to finish the blueberries and eggs. Hubby gets steak and broccoli fried rice, made from leftovers. 🤪

Well, here I sit inside on a beautiful day like today. Yesterday was not the Father's Day I had hoped for my hubby. We went shopping and my phone fell out of my pocket into my car. I didn't realized it until we were in the store. (panic attack) I'll be sewing pocket extensions in those pants to make the pockets deeper. Afterwards, we went out to the garden and what did I do? I fell! So stupid too. I actually saw where I was placing my foot and put it there anyway, so I tripped over a log. Unfortunately, I fell harder than I have ever fallen. Fortunately, nothing got broken. Now I understand why it's a good idea to put the pulled weeds where I walk. a few days ago, I tripped and fell in the chicken yard and the weeds made a nice soft landing. (Ha, ha, ha) Of course, I picked myself up, (Hubby raced to my side to help, but I explained that I have to unfold my body first.)and started weeding the garden. One of our nice neighbors came over to make sure we were ok, because he heard a lot of noise. Actually, the noise he heard was our other neighbor arguing with one of her family members. (They are nice neighbors too, they just yell at each other occasionally.) I told him it was just the "love birds" having a little argument. When I was done weeding, I got up and discovered it was painful to walk. By the time I got back to the house, I had to use my cane the rest of the day to get around. Waited for hubby to come in, so I could cook his lunch and take an afternoon nap. Didn't sleep much and the cat stayed by my side; even though, I tossed and turned a lot. Gave in and took some pain medicine from my previous doctor, but that did nothing. Went to bed really early at 9:30 pm and the funny thing is that I was up and down all night to the bathroom and tossing and turning. To my surprise, I am much better this morning. I admit to praying a lot! I can now walk without the cane, but I'm using it for security. I could actually walk out to the chicken coops and open them up. (Hubby took care of the the chickens last night for me.) So today, I'm taking it easy. sitting down between each task. Did the dishes...sit...make a sponge cake...sit...cut the watermelon sit. I really need to remember, I'm not young anymore. Watch where I'm walking and stop trying to walk fast.

Got hungry for pizza and was going to buy frozen pizza when I bought my groceries yesterday. Then I thought about how much a frozen pizza costs and is it really worth it? It's not going to satisfy the craving like a pizzeria pizza can. Then I thought about how I used to make my own pizza and how good it was. Yep, figured out how to make a satisfying low-cal pizza at a very reasonable price....Just use Joseph's heart healthy pita, fresh mozzarella, some parmesan, some ricotta, Contadina squeeze bottle pizza sauce, garlic powder, and oregano. Baked it in the over at 400 for just 10 minutes! I'm not going to lie, it tasted like more. I was good and only had one. :)
