Today I decided to splurge on breakfast. No reason, except that freckled banana looked good sitting all alone by the fruit. Love bananas when they freckle. Instead of having a banana and peanut butter, I went for my "spa-style" breakfast...Pancakes with banana, nuts, syrup, and whipped cream. Not going to lie. It was good! At least I get more bang for my "spa breakfast" calories than I would a fast food meal. ;) My arthritis kicked in and I really didn't sleep that well last night, so I just watered the garden and took a morning nap. Woke up feeling much better, but my mind was all over the place as to what do I want to do. Settled on cleaning out my catch all chest of drawers, thinking I would find that tiny speaker hubby and I share. Nope, but now I'm organized. Top drawer stationary stuff, second drawer nail stuff with scissors and knives, (Love my knives ever since my dad gave me my first pocket knife when I was a kid.) and the bottom drawer is shoes. Then I straighten out my shoes by the door. Looks really nice.

Finally broke through that 148 set point. :) I think the key is to be consistent. Breakfast: 1 fried egg and Joseph's Pita or 1 egg and 1 slice of toast...Morning snack if hungry: 1 piece of fruit....Lunch: a big salad and 1 piece of fruit if still hungry....Supper: Normal (same thing I cook for hubby) - 1 meat/fish, 1 starch, as much vegies as I like....Nighttime snack: 5 green olives. Friday through Sunday is fish/seafood. Yesterday I setup all the Live Love Party Zumba videos I like so I can easily enjoy them. I plan on Zumba at least once per day after lunch. I picked out the following songs that Live Love Party does: Dying Inside, Girl in the Mirror, Material Girl, Havana, Love me Like You, Black Magic, 24k, Closer, Despacito, Rockabye, Dear Future Husband, and Dahil Sa'Yo.

So, I went back in time to August 2023 with the help of FS by viewing my calendar, putting it in month mode, and clicking back. I had lost weight and was 135! I decided to analyze my diet back then and discovered that I ate a light breakfast, light lunch, normal super, and a small nighttime snack. Breakfast was an egg and 1 slice of toast. Lunch was basically half a sandwich and fruit. (1/2 sandwich = 1 slice bread with peanut butter, pepperoni and lettuce, cheese, or a hard boiled egg.) Dinner was normal and was whatever I made for hubby and myself. My nighttime snack was 4 tea biscuits.
I'm thinking my lunches have gotten big, so I need to go back. I'm thinking the salads for lunch will be more satisfying and closer to the same calories as the light lunch I was having. I also need to go back to the egg and toast breakfast. Why not? I'm blessed with a ton of eggs right now. This will allow me to enjoy dinner with hubby too. I think I'm on a mission now to turn back time. Oh where is Cher when you need her?

Didn't realize my arthritis got that bad. I could only do 5 minutes on my stationary bike today. I kept getting twinges of pain, that made me jump. :( Guess I'll have to find something else to do after lunch. To think that when the pain first started, I would get on the bike for 15 minutes to help ease the pain. Now, it causes it. Everyone always says to go for a walk, but they don't understand that walking just irritates it. I guess I should be happy that I can still do the light dance/Zumba videos. Good thing is that I just ate a nice big salad and some ribs for lunch, so my lunch was lighter.
