Losing 1.3 kg a Week

Didn't feel well this morning, so rescheduled today's dialysis for tomorrow morning. Started feeling better by this afternoon.
Met calorie goal.
Bike 60 minutes.
Stretching 35 minutes.
-Hip extension 50 rep no bands
-Hip abduction 50 rep no bands
-Single Knee to Chest with strap 30 rep each leg (new to at home)
-Supine Active Straight Leg Raise 30 rep each leg (new to at home)
-Hand Heel Rock 30 rep (new to at home, planking prep)
-Quadraped Alternate Leg 20 rep (new to at home, planking prep)
-TheraBand Knee Extension 50 rep
Some of these are ones I have done at PT, but not at home. They gave me a printout last week and tried them at home. The surgeon said I could start modified planking this week, and the PT gave me exercises to get me ready for it. Don't want to push it yet...hoping to see nephrologist soon and she can look at where they put the stent in and see if I'm ready.

Made quesadillas with low carb tortillas and homemade pico de gallo. A little decadent, but still well under my calorie count for the day.
Began a novena to St. Thomas Aquinas today. Used a new scriptural Rosary book we got for Christmas. Was a different scriptural book than one we used before. Prayed for several FS members.
No matter how your day has gone, sitting next to a sleepy pup makes everything worth it.

Met calorie goal.

-lunges 50 rep each leg
-bridging 50 rep
-supine clamshell WITH band 50 rep each leg
-supine clamshell WITH band 50 rep both legs at same time
-supine piriformis stretch/hip ER 90 count each leg
-hamstring stretch with strap 90 count each leg
Going to try to do different stretches tomorrow to switch things up.

Met calorie goal.
PT 45 minutes.
Yesterday was my surgery...fistulaplasty and a stent put in my arm. Had dialysis this morning and then PT this afternoon.
Took it relatively easy at PT. They gave me some tests to reevaluate my progress since before Christmas. I actually did better on a couple, which I think is because I've been decent about doing my stretches at home. After the progress report, we did some of the same exercises I do in floor work. She had me do 3 sets of 10 (I do 5 sets at home). Easy, right? Then she had me do a couple of things I've never done before...and I struggled to do 3 sets of 10. Hey, I'm glad to learn something new that will make me stronger. After that, we did hip extension and abduction WITHOUT bands, 3 sets of 10. Finally, the lateral walk without bands.
Although I learned a couple of new, TOUGH things, I'm really glad I've kept up the level of work I've been doing with my stretches at home. I don't think she would have introduced new things otherwise.
All of these exercises did NOT use my arm, which actually feels worse today. I have pictures of my arm with and without the stent, showing the fistula and how it flows. I decided not to post it since people post food pics. Might be too much.
Even though it hurts, dialysis went well. Phew! Thankful to God.
