Ugh, stayed the same - I guess better than UP! Only means I have to try harder. I know what it was though - the several beers I had at the concert last night. At least I was standing and dancing the whole time too. And alternating with water probably helped too. (Yes, I'm trying to justify and it doesn't sound genuine, even to me! LOL)
Ok, back to the grind today and the next few anyway. Have a double birthday party that I'm hosting on Sunday, but I'll try to be good for at least most of it! The key is not going overboard, but eating reasonably. (Right?)

A .2 gain, but I'm not unhappy! Considering we were away at a conference with friends all weekend and I really didn't follow ANY diet at all, a little .2 gain is WONDERFUL! We did do a bit of walking - especially around the Gettysburg battlefields - and I did climb one of the observation towers (considered that my cardio for the day!), so all in all, I'm a happy camper!
However, it's Monday now and back to the diet and paying attention to what I put in my mouth and get some structured exercise in. Today is my honey's birthday, so we'll be celebrating tonight with dinner out, which means extra exercise beforehand!
Now if I can get the poison ivy rash to subside, that would be the icing on the cake (so to speak) - does scratching count as exercise? LOL

Ok, so yesterday was a day spent with friends having a good time. While I really didn't go overboard, I didn't watch too closely either. After all, it was a fun day out - I wasn't watching everything!
We did walk around our local animal farm for a good while, then went to the mall - mostly window shopping and Kohl's for real shopping! A baseball game in the evening rounded out the day - have to have a beer at the ball game!
So I guess considering all all the walking - I didn't do too badly. I'll take the .2 hit and leave it at that!

I thought I was the same weight as Thursday, but now that I look at it, I am down 2 lbs! Even with the Margarita yesterday for Mother's Day! (Remember, children, you're the reason mama drinks!) Guess all the yardwork is paying off! Too bad I have all these bug bites to go with it!
And hit the gym today for the first time in a week too - felt good to get my heartrate up! Guess life is OK!

Don't even want to know what the scale says today (luckily it's not weigh-in day!) Yesterday I said diet be damned and ate all the wrong things - a total of about 1800-1900 calories - with not much exercise. Although we did take a nice long hike in our local preserve last night.
After losing 13 pounds in a month I needed a day off! Even so, I was only about 300 calories above my self-imposed limit of 1500 (Checkers hot wings for lunch, ribs, sweet potato, lobster bisque, bread and fried calamari for dinner! MMMM, good!)
Today, back in the grind and I have plenty of exercise planned to wear it off - I have so much work in the garden needed - resetting the blocks (40 lbs each) where the truck crashed into them, weeding the section where I'm planting my butternut squash and spreading some of the 240 cu ft of mulch I purchased last week. Just hope I don't get bit by the bugs; my arm already looks like the measles with all the calamine lotion dots!
Ok, mea culpas done and have to start working!
