After a rollercoaster weekend, I came out about the same as I went in! Considering the parties and tailgating and concert, I did ok. Now that there's nothing in my way, I"m knuckling down to be serious in watching what I eat and get to exercising. Gotta check the bike in the basement - hoping the tires aren't rotted out.
But the clothes definitely feel better, fit better (or very loose!), and my honey likes what I'm doing, so it's all good!

Ok, no excuses - trying to keep exercising and eat better, but there are some days that it won't happen. Like this upcoming weekend - I'll try, but really, BBQ time! All day concert today with tailgating, and BBQ with friends tomorrow. Made the yummy, and definitely decadent Turtle Pie for dessert Saturday and you KNOW I'll have a small piece. (It's a curse, being a good baker!)
Hopefully today I'll stay on my feet most of the day, so I'll up up what I consume. Time to load up the truck now! Wish me luck this weekend!

Thought I'd gained a bit over the weekend - guess I didn't! Woo Hoo! Weekends are hard! And this upcoming weekend will be doubly hard!! But hopefully, I'll also be active enough to work at least some of it off!
It'll also be a difficult week getting to the gym - appointments and activities cluttering up my afternoons! But I should be able to go for a bit today and Thursday (hope the air conditioning is fixed!).
Another week, hopefully another pound!

Lost not only the two pounds gained from last weekend but another one to boot!! Yippie-kayo-kayyeh! Actually this weigh in was Thursday morning, and just to make sure I wasn't dreaming, I checked today too and yes!!!! Another pound! Guess every once in a while you have to gain a small amount to get that impetus back!
Hopefully the gym's air conditioning will be working next week - they were working on it today - because it's hard to get a good workout when it's too damned hot! But at least I do something - that's the whole key! Like Dora says, just keep swimming!

Oh, boy, what a weekend! Birthday/graduation party on Saturday with luscious desserts and then Sunday at the ball game - I tried, I really did, but failed...... Again, back to the grind - it would help if the gym's air conditioning was working. Hard enough trying to exercise when the sweat is running in your eyes before you even start the machine! They said will be fixed sometime this week. But in the interim, salads & fat-free yogurt!
This backslide is only temporary!!!! YES!
