Why do people think it's a mystery as to why people have a hard time losing weight? So here's the deal. To lose 2 little pounds in a week, you've got to decrease caloric intake and/or increase caloric burn by 1000 calories a day.
I don't eat chips and ice cream, as apparently television producers and doctors think fat people do. I just eat a lot.
A lot, a lot.
I know I don't always eat leaves and tree bark. I also eat highly fattening real food, such as fried chicken, fried fish, mashed potatoes, buttered noodles, stuffing, pizza, and an occasional cola.
When people give fat people advice on what to cut, it's usually some crap about not having late night binges on cookies and ice cream. I know there are fat people who do that, but that's not me. There are thin people who do that sometimes. That crazy. Funny.
People usually don't say, "Try to limit the stuffing you eat. Don't put too much gravy on your food, if any at all. Stay away from buttered noodles, and stop eating so many potatoes!"
We all know those things are bad, but for some reason, those comfort-type foods seem only associated with people with mild weight issues. If you're mildly obese, or are someone other people might describe as "heavy set" or "fat," then apparently, you are too stupid to know that cookies and ice cream are bad for you. People assume that to be 200 lbs, you must sit all day, eating chips and candy, and that you eat fast food every day. They must have a warped sense of food reality too, because to do that, I'd weigh much more than 200 lbs. I exercise, eat veggies and fruits, and eat lots of yummy dinners.
Some yacks did a study that showed fat people actually have a lower sense of food enjoyment then other people. They made the assumption that fat people overeat to compensate. They used this study with some sweet tasting shake. To be honest with you, I think we all like sweet foods and shakes, but I prefer salty and buttery. I know fat people who like the sweets, but more often then not, I think thin people tend to prefer sweet foods. Us fat people usually (not always) would prefer some form of comfort type food over sweet foods.

I just keep gaining weight. I feel so hungry! I just at a ham sandwich, a salad, and a bowl of cream of chicken soup for lunch, like, two hours ago, and I'm already hungry. I was doing well when I l.o.g.g.e.d every thing I put in my face. I didn't really fell deprived. Just, left to my own natural eating, I eat for hibernation or something.
So, I'm going to start this jazz again. It's getting crappy. Clothes don't fit, and I don't do shopping. Too cheap for that. Over 200 lbs so quickly? Argh. I was down to like, 183. Craziness.

stop thinking about food. I stopped counting calories. I stopped acting like I had to do something hard, and started being. just. aware.
I don't overdo things, but if I do, I'm not freaked out.
I've maintained my weight, and started losing a few more pounds.
