211 lbs. It's been a while since I've checked in. Holding fairly steady with weight, but about 20 lbs higher than I want to be. It's a mental game and I haven't been winning it. But still in the running.

210 lbs. Sloowwwwwly loosing I guess but would do much better if I do what I know I NEED to do. Plan meals each day, log it all, stick to the plan.
I'm helping lead a men's retreat for the next 4 days called the Walk to Emmaus. That's a good thing, the bad part is I'll be surrounded by a sea of food, much of it goodies that I need to stay away from. Preparing for that by bringing some jerky, yogurts, raw veggies w/ some dressing and a few apples; need to stick to that and stay away from the other stuff plus eat sparingly at meal times. Hopefully I can come back the same weight I go up, that would be a huge victory. Putting my willpower to the ultimate test the next few days!

211.2 lbs this morning. I'm still moving water out of my body as a result of drastically reducing carb intake, but expect that to slow down. Was 218 lbs just a week ago.
One very good thing about cutting carbs is lack of cravings. They were out of control on a daily basis, all it would take is eating one little piece of chocolate, danish, donut, cake, etc...and then watch out, it was off to the races for the day with addictive/compulsive eating. It is so nice to be back in control of things and not driven by that madness!

I'm on day 3 of low carbs, shooting for 20 net carbs a day or less. Sweets, refined carbs and just mindless eating are what I've been struggling with for a while so this is a good path to getting out of that mode.
