Down Down Down!! :D 1.5lbs Down! Woot! A great way to start the weekend.

I got a mile in yesterday for my challenge. Just need 4 more, and another 30min dance session and I'll be good on the exercise portion of it. Not sure if I'll go walking outdoors with my almost 6yr old daughter in tow, or wait til she's sleeping and walk on the treadmill here at the house. I'll probably be going over to a friend's house later today too to talk healthy food and exercise plans too. And I think I'll be able to get the dancing in tonight definitely. :D

Going to clean some this morning, make some decisions on meals and snack and have that plan mostly set in stone. I had dinner around 6pm yesterday and was up til 11:30. So around 9:30 I started having some indigestion so I had to eat something. Added 2 tablespoons of lite cool whip, a small banana, and some fat free redi whip to what I ate yesterday. Still didn't go over the rdi I have set. :3 So I feel good about what I chose to eat.

Still haven't done my measurements, got sidetracked by everything yesterday. And walking was more important as well as taking a long hot bath to warm my toes up. lol. No complaints about it being too cold though, I prefer this to the 100+ days of summer that are coming in a few short months! lol.

Okay so I haven't recorded my weight in a couple days or journalled. I have been tracking food though and been incredibly busy. I feel like a chicken running around with it's head cut off. lol. So for the last few days I didn't know if my scale was broken, if I was retaining a bunch of water, or what. From 327, my jumped up to 333 the last few days. I have been on my period and was coming off that. And I can tell some hormone changes was going on because my face has broken out the last week or so. -__- Only time I have issues with breakouts. Well last night I got back on the scale before bed and it said 327.5, then this morning I got on and I was down to 321. Woot!! So happy about that. I was starting to become convinced my scale was being screwy.

I've been able to notice a difference in my hands the last 2 days. My fingers aren't as plump as they were. And it's kind of like someone moving all your living room furniture by 2 inches. Not enough to fully notice, but you know something is different. My husband told me yesterday my face was looking thinner too. :) So of course I had to go look for myself and he was right. My chin and jaw line are definitely more defined. Historically, I show weightloss first in my face, followed by a less 'bloaty looking' stomach. lol. Like a balloon with a slow leak. It's still full of air (fat) but the rubber (skin) has a looser look. I'm thinking about taking my body measurements today, it's another great way to see changes, especially when the scale is being screwy. lol.

Exercise wise, I have gotten most of my dancing out of the way this week for my challenge, but haven't been able to get my walking in. We've been busy. lol. I've had to help my husband pack for his trip, grocery shopping, bill paying, cooking, cleaning, scavenger hunting for my husbands stuff he needs for his trip that he didn't put up from the last time. AAaaaarrrrgh. >.< So one way or another I will walk today. I do have a treadmill that has been shoved into my office over the holidays, so we could make room for the Christmas tree. So if nothing else, tonight I will do at least a mile on it. I'd rather go for a walk outside and look for all the signs of spring coming. It's been rather chilly here in Florida lately but sun is warm and walking will keep me warm too. Need to get in 5 miles by Tuesday afternoon.

I'm sleeping better than I have in a while. And having vivid dreams that range from Interesting to Weird, and Disturbing. lol. Probably stress induced, I know they're influenced by things that take my interest during my waking hours too. This morning I woke up remembering my childhood home and how it had looked 25 years ago. Before the tornado, before changes had been made, the idyllic home of my memory where I caught baby chickens, played with little dogs, and ran wild under the oak and pine trees. The setting was familiar, but the 'storyline' of the dream was interesting fantasy. lol

Food intake wise I'm doing well, a little high on fat than I usually go, but over all under 1700 calories each day. Journal wise under 1500 usually. I like to guesstimate an extra 50-100 calories for extra things that I use when cooking, oil, butter, spices, a tich of extra coffee creamer. My fat will probably be higher than I want for a while, because I have sausage and pork in the freezer, and I dislike being wasteful. Only my daughter and I eat it, and I more than my daughter. :P Only downside to that is my body dislikes having to break down all that extra fat.... no gallbladder. Lets just say being stopped up is not a concern of mine. lol.

Overall still have a positive outlook and still working towards a healthier me.

No changes in the scale today. Going to have an extra cup of green tea today to help with any water retention today. I did get some dancing in yesterday. And im having to resort to locking my husband out of the room qhile im getting my groove on. He keeps barging in without knocking. >. < Completely throws me off and just makes me not want to keep dancing. Aaaargh.

On another note i experimented with the buttermilk biscuit bread i like to have for breakfast. Usually its an eyeballing kind of thing. Flour, butter, salt, an egg and buttermilk. Today i measured everything and tried to use just enough of everything without being excessive. I made a single 'biscuit' with no egg in it, then did a batch of biscuit bread in a 10 inch skillet. If i say 1/4 is a serving, which is a very generous size, then it would be 237 calories a serving. My single biscuit had a higher calorie count of 325. So i will be making biscuits by the 4 from now on. Bread and coffee is my isual breakfast. And i think ill balance that out with a high protien snack/shake soon. :)

Got phone calls to make today and some errands around town. Its a little cold outside but im going to try to get a walk in as well.
