First weigh in since I got back from my trip, up about 10 lbs. -_- But we had some amazing food, and fun for a week. :) 6 states in 6 days. Seashore to mountains and back again. Ski lifts, ice skating, nature exhibits, board games, video games, tons of driving, good music and friends. Couldn't have asked for a better week. Decided to really get back on track today tracking my calories, and with food planning. Greek yogurt, dried fruit and nuts anyone? Pretty much my go to snacks. Also wasn't too fond of Chobani's salted caramel crunch flip. I like the cocoa loco almond flip and the key lime. but the salted caramel was a flop for me. Going to push myself to go for a walk today. It's been a crazy work week for my husband, 3rd shift, 2nd shift, and 1st shift all in one week, so I've kinda felt like a single parent this week with no time to get anything done. Couldn't sacrifice the little family time we had together to go walking or what not. -_- Planning on getting a lot of cleaning and Halloween decorating done this weekend. And possibly taking my daughter to the Farm and getting some pumpkins and having some family fun. :)

So I had a BIG loss this weekend!! :D I stayed real steady weight wise all last week. Dropped to 344 on Saturday, Sunday was 343.8, and Today I had to weigh myself 3 times to be sure it wasn't a scale fluke!! Woot!! It may go back up a little tomorrow, but for today I'm enjoy my loss. :3 So I'm down 16.4 lbs since the beginning of the month. I wanted to lose 20lbs by October, but I did get close. I didn't have much time for exercise this month with everything going on. I have done a good bit of walking at stores and running errands, but not much that I planned. Also cleaned a lot too. Still have to finish packing for my trip on Friday. Need to get my oil changed in my car. Wednesday I have a parent/teacher conference in the afternoon, then a movie at 7:30 in the city with a friend of mine. My sister drives up Thursday, and Friday I have 1/2 day of work, Then a 10hr drive!! O.O So it's going to be a Busy busy busy week for me. :)

9/23/15 I'm rather proud of myself today for not going the easy route on dinner last night. Yesterday was open house at my daughter's school and usually we would eat out or order pizza. I had put chicken on in the crockpot on my lunch break from work. I didn't have time to make some pasta and sauté veggies, like I had planned. So we had mini croissant chicken sandwiches with Italian cheese instead. I also didn't snack when we got back from the open house either. I made a cup of green & peppermint tea, and drank water til bedtime. :) The scale jumped up a little this morning but I'm not too worried about it. I think I strained a tendon or something in my left foot/leg when I went walking Monday afternoon. Its really tight and sore feeling, and I hope it feels better by this afternoon because I would really like to go walk some more.

No change in weight today. I figured that would happen after having a big whoosh. At least it didn't go up any. lol. I got in a half a mile with a friend of mine yesterday. We walked her apartment complex to get an idea of walking course. 1 time around the complex is a 1/2 mile. Also went by and saw the gym there too. It's not huge, but the equipment is in excellent condition, and it has 2 elliptical, 2 treadmills, 1 bike, weights, and 2 weight lifting machines.

I brought some delicious Greek yogurt mixed with a little splenda, lite cool whip and fresh berries over for a snack. The addition of cool whip to the 0% fat Greek yogurt was a stroke of genius. If you have not tried it, you must. I insist. It gives the yogurt that delectable flavor. :3 The next thing I want to try is adding a little cornstarch to thicken the consistency a little so its more of a set cheesecake firmness. If I could make it do that without adjusting the flavor it would make a great healthy dessert.

I had my dinner late last night, and forwent the spinach leaves, they were just too bitter for me last night. So I had the carrots and tomatoes. I also took my chicken and put it on top of my pita bread, then added 1 slice of white American cheese, and a 1/4 serving of mozzarella and put under the broiler til it was all melty. Delicious. I haven't added the cheese to my food journal yet, but I was only at 1344 calories for yesterday, so I don't think it'll make too much of a jump on that.

My husband gets home today, so going to finish up a chunk of the cleaning before he gets back. Also going walking with my daughter today, my goal is a mile and a half. Might let her ride her bike while I walk too. My doggies won't be joining us, too much to keep track of all at once. lol. They can go with me when my daughter doesn't.

Well talking weightloss and food with my sister right now, so I guess that is all for today. :)
