Still dealing with the sprained ankle, but I'm trying not to let it upset my routines. I'm still working today and going to the gym afterward. I'm letting pain guide me as to whether or not I should do something.
I used yesterday as my cheat day since we were going to Lindi(girlfriend)'s grandma's house for dinner. I managed to not overindulge too much. I ended up around 150 carbs which is more than I am trying to eat, but still only about half as many as I was eating before. Everything I had was good carbs though (I think) with the exception of maybe corn casserole and ice cream. They were moderate portions though, so I'm okay with it.
Temptations have been getting to me lately. Nothing sounds better than nasty, greasy, fast food. I've managed to resist for the most part. Eating out is one of my worst addictions and I'm trying to break it. Tonight we're having tacos with romaine lettuce shells. I'm hoping that it will curb that addiction for a little while without compromising my efforts. Happy Monday!

I somehow sprained my ankle last night. It's incredibly demoralizing. I'm not giving up, but it's very frustrating that it happened so early on in the process. I'm still setting routines and habits and this throws a wrench into the whole thing.
Last night my girlfriend and I made some cauliflower crust pizza. It was okay, but it stuck to the pan. I guess I missed a few steps. Today so far I've had an omelet and some sausage links.

I feel pretty good about this the last time i weighed myself was when i went to the doctor in June. I bought a scale today and im happy with the results.

I've decided I'm going to try a low carb diet. It sounds like a good thing, although I am a little wary of giving up pizza, burgers, tacos, etc. I'm trying to figure out alternatives to those things so it doesn't feel like I'm giving them up. I'm nervous for my weigh-in this weekend, but excited at the same time. I'm not seeing any results yet, but hopefully I will soon.

Today I'm feeling a little unsure about what to do. I have lifted the last two days. My triceps are sore, so I don't think I'm going to lift today. I'm just going to do some cardio. I find myself missing the foods that I love, but as I look at their nutritional values, I realize how terrible they are and how counterproductive it would be to eat them. I'm still trying to figure out the eating part. I'm eating smaller meals more often, but I usually just end up just feeling hungry afterwards. I'm wanting to eat more, but I'm afraid that if I do, I'm going to go overboard and just start eating everything I was eating to get me here.
