Today was a great day. I have been tweaking my diet and supplements and I feel like things are starting to come online for me. I had a great workout after work, I try to stick to basic compound exercises instead of several isolation movements. Today I did the DeadLift, Dumbbell Bench Press, Underhand Wide Grip Pull Down and Push Press Dumbbell Shoulder Presses. I finished it all up with a 1.5 mile jog after the weight training was all said and done. I am spent but it feels really really good.
I came home drank a good quality Whey Protein Shake, then grilled a skinless chicken breast, brown rice and summer squash. I'll post progress pictures occasionally.

Well yesterday I went over my calorie budget, not by a lot but I still went over. I think that on Monday I was actually under so I guess it'll balance itself out. Today I'll hit the gym after work and then head home. I read that when you crave sugar to drink a whey protein shake, then I also read to drink one when you get up in the morning before you head to work-something about regulating blood sugar levels and helping to not crave sweets. The funny thing is that I've started doing this and for some reason all I want is a Dr.Pepper afterwards and the flavor of the Dr.Pepper is way sweeter than in would normally be so who knows what's going on there. Well today I'll try again and take this whole weight loss thing one day at a time. The important thing is to not get de-railed and to eat the best I can. I need to add more lean proteins into my diet I think. I guess we'll see how it goes.

Good Morning all..well I'm starting on this website journal today, yesterday I had a fairly good bout of resistance training, and I'm looking forward to dropping to my goal weight of 205. The hardest part is just staying motivated and figuring out a good workout schedule even for when I'm flat tired at the end of the day. I welcome any suggestions anyone may have.
