Okay. This might seem fine as I have not exceeded my goal weight, but it actually was not good. I had three weeks of craziness. The first week, I managed to lose weight knowing that the next two weeks would be really bad. I was right but my lack of control exceeded even my worst expectations. Yes, today (Tuesday weigh-in day) I have managed to get down to 125.0. However, three days ago, I was well above my goal weight and starting to panic.
I have more challenges coming up mid-month so I need to take the next 10 days seriously. I need to drop a couple pounds so I have a 'comfort zone' again. It has actually been a big relief to be eating healthy food again. I hope things are going in the right direction when I weigh in again next week!

Pretty good week but the second half of August is going to be super challenging. Lots of time with friends and family. Food is always a focus. Don't want to be a kill-joy about the comfort food we have enjoyed together for years so my focus will be good choices when possible and small portions of treats. This will be my toughest hurdle so far - even worse than the holidays. I would like to increase my buffer a little more over the next week before the festivities begin.
Loving the cherries and grapes available lately. I'm keeping a bag of each chilled in the fridge, and grab a handful 2-3 times a day to 'take the edge off'.
Also finding coffee to be a friend. Basically, a 45 calorie afternoon snack for me. The 2TB of half & half seems to curb my hunger.

Dear Panera,
What made you think the world needed a DOUBLE bread bowl? It's hard enough to make wise choices. I bravely wade through the single bread bowls, bagels, muffins and, cookies (especially the frosted sugar cookies) to order the low-cal-healthy chicken soup or half a turkey sandwich. Now I have to ignore a DOUBLE bread bowl?!?!?! Argh!!!
I love you Panera, but I may have to let you go.
