Still battling the yo-yo. Up and down between 170 and 171 weight. My next Dr. appointment is end of April, so my goal is to be 10 lbs less by then, and average 6.5 A1c. I'm still alternating arm exercise with weights, and some walking, Generally too tired to walk after I have spent several hours in the garden. I need to walk first, then garden.
Have been doing some heavy lifting in the garden, but it is looking good. Have onions, kale, cabbage, swiss chard, English peas growing well. Harvesting the first asparagus! Have resituated nearly all my cement blocks that border my raised beds. Planted bee and butterfly attractors in the holes of the cement blocks yesterday. Garden will be surrounded with flowers. Planning a brick floored oasis nearby so hubby and I can sit and rest in the garden. He is tearing down a 75 year-old garage nearby and since he is 79, needs several, frequent breaks. It was so pleasant to sit in the shade yesterday, drink sf cranberry juice, visit and recharge!

Below 170 for first time in a year! Blood sugar was 97 this morning. Not exactly sure how that happened. I didn't record everything I ate yesterday. Had mocha coffee for breakfast with rice cake and peanut butter. Strawberry smoothie for lunch. Snacked on rice cakes. Supper was rice cake with peanut butter. I ate more rice cakes in evening. And toast with butter! I should have gained from all those rice cakes! I'm not complaining!!!
I made chia pudding with some leftover strawberry smoothie, coconut milk, and hw cream and let it set in refrigerator overnight. This morning I added Seven Sundays Wild and Free muesli to it. Delicious, very filling breakfast, with black tea. Will try very hard to stick with keto for the rest of the day so I don't have an unpleasant surprise when I step on those scales in the morning.

It was a peanut butter kind of day! On the way out the door to Bible study, I drank my mocha coffee and ate rice cakes with peanut butter. When I came back home I didn't feel like cooking so ate cottage cheese and fruit with rice cake and peanut butter. Went to tax lady to do income tax. Went to garden store and bought 10 bags of compost and spent several hours spreading them on the garden. Was getting ready to do dishes when the plumbing under the sink came apart. Hubby fixed it, I mopped up. Didn't feel like cooking then, so drank a protein shake and ate rice cake with peanut butter and cheese. I believe I have had my fill of peanut butter for a few days! Didn't exactly help the macros! But it was easy to fix!

I survived Valentine's Day --- sort of! Ate lunch at Cracker Barrel today.

Arm exercises 30 min with weights. No walk today. Did walk almost a mile on Sunday with grandson. Good company makes it go faster!
Breakfast: peanut butter, rice cake, mocha coffee. Lunch: salad, cottage cheese, beets. Snack: crackers, rice cakes, Ghirardelli 92% chocolate, herbal tea. Supper: egg, cocktail weiners, cheese, deli turkey. Blueberry cobbler, nutpods coconut creamer.
Macros 30/57/13; 1479 calories; -683 net kcals.
