.....pretty tired today~ had a 15 hour workday yesterday~ it happens, but I feel like I've been run over. Spent most of the day on my feet, so they ache and my legs are still pretty sore from my workout on Wednesday~ feelin' a little "beat down", but I'm certain once I get some coffee in me, and wake up a little~ I will feel better! Did pretty ok with my eating yesterday despite the fact I had to stand up and eat my lunch in less than 5 minutes.... I only had 2 Dove chocolate minis, whereas I would usually stuff about half the bag in my pocket and munch all day using the rational of "no time to eat real food". Proud of that~ I'm getting there!

.....ok~ I am sore today. Not too terribly bad, but it's enough to remind me that I worked hard yesterday.
So far, so good with my diet today~ fruit/yogurt/granola for breakfast with some coffee and ff creamer..... nothing too exciting on my agenda, I am on call for work so I'm sorta stuck hanging out at home (or close to it). Maybe I'll read that book I've been eyeing....
And to everyone that commented on my last journal entry.... Thanks very much for the great encouragements! SO NICE! What a pick me up... :)

Well..... I'm officially back in the game after spending the last 9 days coughing, feverish, and pretty much flat on my back! I listened to my body and while I did go back to work this past Monday, I did not go back to my regular trainer schedule until today. I felt like I still needed to rest and recover. Today was difficult~ my usual trainer has taken a 2-3 month leave of absence (family emergency I'm told), so I was shuffled off to the "new guy" Chris.... pretty darned easy on the eye if you asked me~ but I digress..... he freakin' kicked my butt! I fought back though and made it through the hour without passing out! LOL! He definitely has a different training style than my regular dude, and I've decided to just embrace it and see if it works for me..... shake up the ol' fat reserves a little! And he really is a NICE guy~ but he made me work and wasn't too chatty, which easily distracts me since I love to blab! I think this is the beginning of a beautiful (and painful) relationship...... :)

First day on this site.... recovering from the plague....will be going back to my trainer on Monday, having been unable to go due to sickness for the past 6 days. Eating has been out of whack~ first, no appetite at all, then the past 2 days I've been starving. Part of recovery I guess. Today's intake a lot more like it~ yogurt, fruit, eggs, granola and whole wheat toast. Need to get going on my H20 today also....
My regular trainer has gone on hiatus due to a personal emergency, so Monday I start with someone else. Hate to be a crybaby, but I was just really getting used to Bob, and now I've got to adjust to someone else. Maybe I will just shut my pie hole and accept what is happening.... a little shakeup is good for the old body, right?
