So glad the weekend is over!! Saturday was a disaster - it started out innocently enough - even did my exercise - don't even know what made me become anxious and moody so I did what I usually do when this happens - I eat. Want to blame it on PMS haha. Anyway I was angry and disgusted with myself but the damage was done. So Sunday I picked myself up, went for a walk with hubbs and planted some pepper seeds. It made me feel better. That it was a nice sunny day helped, too.
So I am all back, having forgiven myself and start from where I left off. Try not to dwell on that I do this 2 steps forward 1 step back dance..... work in progress -sigh-

TGIF - and the weekend is supposed to be warmer, like in the 50th which is a big improvement. It has been an exceptional cold and looong winter - yuk. Did 10 min on the exerciser and had wobbly legs and arms afterward. I certainly am a wuss. That's ok I'll get stronger and after all I'm a work in progress.
So thanks to all the encouragement and support this week. Hope everybody has an awesome weekend!

Discovered the delicious taste of steel cut oats. Thank you Christy for rewarding me with this gift!! I fixed it not as a sweet but with fat free chicken broth. It was just yummie!. Think I will have a new breakfast favorite. I'm up to 8 min on the torture machine haha. That's not a long time? Well tell that to my muscles. Both thigh and arms. Tomorrow I'll will do 10 min and see what happens.

For some reason I have been hungry all day today. Right after breakfast I could have had my lunch. I usually keep some of my main course food for a later snack. Not today - ate everything but the wrappers and wanting more. Even water didn't do the trick. My mind was constantly on food and when it was time for the next snack/meal. Guess this keeps me real. Was beginning to think there is nothing to this new way of eating. Hopefully this will pass soon. Will quiet myself down and concentrate on Jesus who is the "bread of life".

Well I added a minute as in "one" to my newly started exercise routine. Boy did not realize how long a minute can be. So tomorrow it will be another minute and by Friday I want to go for 10 minutes. And all of this is just cardio - getting the heart rate up. I should start some weights but my soul is not into that yet. Baby steps - reminding myself that I am a work in progress - lifestyle change.
