Hi there,
This is such a great community and am so glad to have joined, however, I was just wondering why so many people here on fatsecret eat so few calories. Do you not find it destroys your metabolism. I 5'3,female, however seem to lose weight at a steady rate at around 2000-2200 calories a day. What do you think?

I have been thinking about entering a bikini competition for next year. This is not something my partner or family will be happy with, but I will prepare for it and just do it without discussing it with anyone I know. I need all the support I can get from this online community here. Any tips, recommendations and love is much appreciated.

Having gained weight by using food as a way to ease and cope with my inner shadows.I am now ready face them, look them in the eye and claim myself back.
