Anyone else ever have a day where it seems like no matter what you eat you are still hungry?? Probably going to go over 2000 calories today but I think it is important to listen to my body. And it is mostly protein.

Got my first new “skinnier” outfit yesterday and now the weight I’ve lost really shows. Decided from here on out I will treat myself to a new outfit for every 10 pounds lost (or 5lbs if I am really struggling).

No change this week. I am having a hard time staying motivated. This is the most miserable winter I can remember and I am a life-long Minnesotan. Early on it was so exciting to see my weight drop each week and now it feels kind of...meh. Like I’ve lost 30 pounds isn’t that good enough? My end goal isn’t so much a number, my goal is to get pregnant and have a healthy pregnancy. And it starts to feel like I’m not any closer to that goal than I was 30 pounds ago. My back hurts from shoveling so I don’t really feel like working out. It isn’t so much that I want to quit, more like I just want a break - a little time to veg in front of the TV and binge on potato chips and ice cream and sleep all afternoon. Of course I know how terrible I feel when I do that so I am not going to. Maybe I just needed to put it into words.
