This is my before and after pics so far. The first pic was taken 6/27/10 at my grandson's dedication service at church. It was a month before I started my weight loss journey.
The second pic was taken 10/23/10 after loosing almost 35 pounds.
Unfortunetly this week is the first time I have a a little bit of a wt gain since starting this journey 7/29/10. A lot has happened this past week with my kids and I think I've been stress eating. I will get back on track this week with eating right and exercising!

I wasn't going to record my food intake today because I felt like I had done terrible today. But after reading another FS buddy's journal I was so inspired I decided to be honest with myself and record it all. To my surprise, even though I had not made the best choices, I actually didn't do as bad as I thought I had.
Now I just also need so get back to exercising routinely again. It seems I have been staying so busy running around and helping everyone else that I haven't done what I really need to do for myself. I need to make the time for me, because I need it and I deserve it. In the words of my new FS buddy (Lisa online)---TAWANDA!!!
She's right. That is empowering! (and I love that movie--Fried Green Tomatoes) LOL!!!

I had such a wonderful 2 days off work! I volunteered for a fund raiser for the Employee Recognition Commitee that I'm on and while I was there my son and daughter-in-law called me and let me know that they are expecting my next grandchild. What a blessing! This little one will be due just before my 50th birthday in July. Stacey says that she thinks she will be due around 7/6/11. We also have another grandbaby from my stepson's girlfriend that is due either the very end of the year or the beginning of next year. That will bring our total number of grandchildren up to 12! WOW!!!
Today my husband and I just spent the day together going to garage sales, Hobby Lobby and Mardel's.
Now I just have to figure out a way to quit totally blowing my diet every time I have a day off! I do so great on the 4 days that I work and then when I have my 2 days off I just really go off the deep end! UGH! I regret it afterwards, but the next week rolls around and I do it again.
