Uh oh-I gained 5 pounds over the holiday weekend in Denver. Have lost 2 since Monday, so feeling good. It's hard to wean myself off of carbs-especially sweets. CHOCOLATE-why do you torture me so? Very bloated and sick feeling after a steady diet of carby crap. My family is addicted to carbs-BIG time-and it shows, if you know what I mean. It's very sad. Overall it was a good visit. My father avoided noticing my weight loss-he likes to comment on all his children's physical appearance. Perhaps he didn't have anything nasty to say so he did not say anything at all. Ha!
Okay have to get back to logging food and more consistent exercise.

I better record new low before it disappears! I moved the scale to another room so maybe that explains it? Whatever it is-I like it! HAve to keep my act together for next four days. Tomorrow, we go to Denver to see family. Family dynamic is all about overeating. Will have to hang out with my nephews and ride bikes, trampoline and hike.

Okay Okay-I know I have been incommunicado for too long! So busy. Spent Saturday cooking Thanksgiving feast to bring to MIL on Sunday. We had a "winter storm" on Sunday and had to scuttle plans because she lives in the high dessert and the mountain pass was too treacherous without snow tires. That meant, we had TG yesterday, so had to take day off, which meant I had to work all day Sunday. So tired! Good news is yesterday's meal and visit went very well. MIL is getting frail and forgetful and has been taking care of her older sister (Alzheimers) for years. Very stubborn lady! Now sister is in full time care home after falling . She is recovering but we do not think she should return home unless MIL agrees to full time home aide. She says yes and we hire someone and then she very politely throws them out. Stubborn! It's very sad. Getting old is not for sissies.
Have not weighed in-will do so today and report back. Kept my food intake moderate. Only one helping of stuffing, potato and pie and a bottle of champagne.HA!

Dunzo! Premiere went great. Had a flat tire on the way. Had to pull off the freeway in a very sketchy area and call aaa. Thank goodness I paid my subscription. Couldn't remember and my card said it expired in 2009! When I got out of my car dressed in a black cocktail sheath and very high heels, was sort of flattered and creeped out by the offers of "help". I was remarkably calm. In the past I would had called su and have a hissy fit. I was late of course but all was well. Sent my assistant earlier in day so we we covered. Was there from 2 til midnight. Can't sleep after working and contractor arrived at 8am. Miserable. Why is he on time today and late very other day?
Have not weighed in for a few days. Keep forgetting to retrieve scale from bathroom destruction. I think I am okay though. Okay now they are drilling and banging. Have to escape to work.

I am lurking. Sorry I have not had time to fully participate. I have kept up with everyone's journals-not enough dilithium crystals to come up with comments
Had two psychotheraphy clients today plus work and now off to a screening. Thank goodness I grabbed a bit of time to come home and spruce up AND have a glass of champers. Working all weekend and Monday will be a marathon day. Bring on Tuesday!
