Leftovers tonight. Cheese Filled Meatballs with a little Artichoke Salad on the side and a sprig of fresh Cilantro from my herb garden on top. Dinner is still under 500 calories. They are so filling and so good. Ended up leaving one on the plate too, just could not eat another bite. Going to go and get a new food scale tomorrow, mine doesn't seem to be working correctly any longer. Like me..it's getting old.

I never have been very good with keeping journals and/or diaries. Woke up this morning feeling a bit queasy. So I decided to splurge and have some good ole' fashioned stick-to-your-ribs oatmeal for breakfast. I am feeling better now, so feel the sacrifice was worth it.
Didn't get the chance to post last night's dinner, so will do so now. Feelin' pretty good so far that I'm sticking to reasonable portions at any rate.

Today's lunch. Only 86 calories and I am stuffed. Was going to use the remaining avocado from yesterday but it just was not appetizing looking any longer, so I definitely saved the calories and fat there. Any suggestions on keeping the avocados fresh looking longer?

Just found this site and am so in love with it. I'm not following any particular diet, just foods that are good for my liver (and very few carbs) since I have an autoimmune disease of the liver and 2 others of the Thyroid. Here's hoping to dropping this weight now that the thyroid meds have finally kicked in (after 2 years). I have actually already lost 10 pounds, but still have at least the 30 to go.
