OK so I am really stressing. Boyfriend just told me last night that he "signed" me up to make my potato salad for a family thing on Saturday. That's well and good and I am fine with it even though I can't eat any of it. (I love my potato salad (sniff, sniff). Would have liked a little more notice though we live in the boonies and the nearest decent grocery store is an hour drive one-way. Not to mention it's all under construction right now too. Then I asked him what else was on the menu and he rattled off a list of foods I cannot have, like ham salad sandwiches, brownies, Aunt Jean's Tarts, etc. Mostly sweets. You get the picture.
Bread, mayo and the sweets are definite no-no's for me....HELP! How do you handle these situations?

Got my new scale yesterday so at least I can read what it really says. Although I just found this site a few days ago I started at this new diet April 19th when I last visted my Endo and I topped the scales at 260# and he told me my thyroid numbers were now finally within norms so we can't blame the weight on the thyroid anymore. So here I am. Struggling everyday and keeping this diary as if to prove to him and so many other people in my life that I don't overeat. My ex used to say that I didn't eat enough to keep a bird alive, so why was I fat. Nice guy!
