13 April 2022
Busted my favorite water glass while washing it in the sink this morning. Last one of the set, no longer available, of course. 😞
Mango Day, all day, and my favorite fruit. At lunchtime I'm doing yoga in my living room, then go for a beach walk before dinner (mango) to catch the sunset.🏝️
Goal of this 3 month experiment is to naturally (without drugs) drop my total cholesterol from 216 to 190. I believe the culprits are cheese (saturated fat) and lack of daily aerobic-type exercise. Cheese will always be in my diet (but limited now for special occasions), so it's just on hold for right now. The exercise I'm building up to start running again, and want to keep.
Happy Wednesday, All!

Kiwi Day, All Day 🥝🥝🥝
Miscalculated when I was at the market earlier last week, and only picked up a package of 4, which are now happily digesting. Lunchtime's walk will include a stop at the market for 2 more packs.
Finally used up all the bananas yesterday (8 big ones), and am definitely burned out on them. Will be buying my weight in grapes today, and freezing about half for Scooby snacks later on after this 3 month cleanse. For anyone who struggles with snacking in front of the TV or late night munchies, frozen grapes are the candy bomb.💕💝🍇
Welcome to Monday, All!

Banana Day, All Day (Second time this week) 🍌🍌🍌
Am currently and slowly eating 4 bananas this morning. My day begins with half a pot of black coffee, and then when the maker automatically turns off 2 hours later, I start with breakfast. Above all, there must always be room for the coffee in my stomach. Priorities! 😁
Heading to the beach this afternoon to get in my steps (1 mile to the ocean, 1 mile on the sand, 1 mile to walk home). Will follow with a resistance band workout.
Overall, I feel energetic, I'm sleeping solidly, and my sodium levels are definitely way down. I can always tell when I'm retaining excess water because my eyelids and browbones puff up. Face and neck are nice and angular now, so all is well.
Tomorrow is Kiwis all day, which I'm looking forward to. I like my bananas, but they are reeeeealllly filling.
Happy Sunday, All!

Mango Day, All Day!
My favorite fruit, so today is a treat. Slowly grazing on 8(!) of the smaller, yellow-green type. For dinner I have 4 of the bigger red variety waiting. Drinking black coffee in a.m., green tea in p.m. and water at night.
Yesterday was bananas, and I burned out on those pretty quickly. They're very dense and filling, and by dinner I had consumed a total of 8 cups. My fruit bowl still has a big bunch of 8 to be consumed tomorrow, then Monday will be Kiwi Day.
Exercise planned for today is a canyon hike, and maybe the beach later.
Have a peaceful Saturday, All! 🦞🐟🐳🏝️⛱️

Banana Day, All Day! 🍌🍌🍌
Was going to hold off until Sunday for the bananas, but they're already bright yellow and freckled, smelling up the kitchen in the fruit bowl. So I put the mangoes in the fridge to halt their (over)ripening, and will have those tomorrow.
Having 3 cups this morning. It IS a lot, as they've got a ton of fiber and fill me up a lot faster than berries. Will have 3 more cups at lunchtime after going for a long walk. No worries about getting enough potassium today!
Heading into the weekend feeling much better than I did this past Sunday night. Puffiness from sodium retention is gone, I feel lighter and have more energy, and my skin is clear and happy.
The goal is to reduce my total cholesterol from 216 down to 190. It's quite different from tracking weight, since there's no way to see a daily difference like you can with a bathroom scale. Just have to trust the process.
Happy Friday, All!🤸🏻♀️💙😘
