Thank goodness that weight dropped back down as expected :)
Had a great 5k out at the lake this morning with the dog. We've had a lot of rain this summer so the wildflowers are still blooming. Just always feels so much better to start the day out this way, it's good for the soul.
Now I'm working on prepping the ingredients for my veggie patties. The base ingredients are lentils, brown rice, almond butter, and eggs. I flavor it with soy sauce, garlic, and pepper. I highly recommend a foremen grill for making veggie patties, really makes it easier and keeps them from falling apart on you.
And much to my excitement I get to watch 'Casa De Mi Padre' while cooking this morning.
Thankful for, a soul refreshing hike, cooking tasty healthful food, a long awaited movie, a day with family, and summer.
