Well, weight was up a tad today. I snacked late on celery and cream cheese, and could have gotten more water in. My carbs were just over 25. I need to get a little more stringent with those carbs.
I did exercise yesterday, both aerobic (23 min) and dance with weights (11 min). I'm hoping to have slayed some inches when I measure on Sunday.
I feel like I'm doing almost everything right. It is also weird to me that I consistently go down after nights I have a drink (alcohol) or two and the days I go up are after I abstain. This doesn't really make sense, unless the alcohol is dehydrating me (I don't see how 1 or 2 drinks would do this).
I will continue to track (here, on Atkins and on WW) and see if I can figure it all out.

I continue to enjoy the low carb lifestyle!! I did over 30 minutes of exercise today so I am happy about that. Still need to get my butt to the gym but it is so cold I hate to leave the warmth of my home!
Weight is down almost 6 lbs since I started Atkins a week and a half ago.

Well, the weight went back down a bit today, still not back to where it was 2 days ago (184.6), but closer. I know I shouldn't weigh everyday, but it helps me analyze the fine points. The artificial sweeteners definitely seem to affect me. I need to try and cut them out altogether and see if that helps.
I am thinking I may need to stay on induction longer. I want to get at least 10 lbs off before I transition to OWL. I might, however, add a limited amout of nuts (I miss my almonds). I have been having an alcoholic drink now and again even in induction (doesn't seem to be a major player in the daily weights--I gained after a day with none). I could live with that kind of diet for a while!

I registered a slight gain today. The only thing I can point to is that I didn't drink as much water as usual yesterday and I had a diet soda. So today I need to step it up! Weird that I didn't have any alcohol and I gained whereas the few other times I have had a drink or two, I've registered a loss. I wonder what is up with that??
I experimented for breakfast and cooked an egg in a red pepper ring. I layered that on some Canadian bacon and a slice of cheese then covered all with a sauce like a Hollandaise (mayo, lemon and a little milk). It turned out pretty good. I'm looking for ways to incorporate some veggies into breakfast.

I'm still staying active on Atkins and WW but I have read on the Atkins forums that this site is easier to track on. I'm going to check it out. I started a week ago and lost 5.4 lbs in that time so I'm happy so far!
