I finally am starting to feel better after a week of being sick!!! Yay! Now I can get back to the plan and quit messing around! I am setting my alarm NOW for the morning so that I am sure to get up 45 minutes earlier to workout! My Wii Fit should be here this week and I am excited about that. Set a goal to drink 3 of my big water bottles of water a day (72 ounces). I almost made the water goal yesterday (not a big fan of plain water...blaahhh!) Maybe tomorrow I will have some inspiration to write some funny, witty things here in my journal.

OK...So I have been very bad about recording my food even though I downloaded the program so that I could just do it on my phone. My back has been out and the doctor tells me it needs to be fused. I am trying physical therapy to see if I can strengthen it, but I know that if I lose weight it will help tremendously. Hard to lose weight when you can't even work out. I am going to do everything I can to NOT have to have my last vertabae fused! To get the inflammation in the disc down, I have been taking Aleve two times a day. It seems to be really working! I got on the treadmill yesterday morning for 20 minutes, which is more than I have done in the past three months. I am heading over to Wal Mart today to buy myself a Wii Fit Plus with Balance Board and I am very excited about that. I accidently set my alarm 45 minutes too late to get on the treadmill this morning, but I am feeling so good that I will probably start using that gym membership I purchased in November and couldn't use because of the whole "blown disc" thing! I promise to try harder to record my food, to work out more regularly, and to get that weight off! I want to be down by at least 30 pounds before the end of June...25 year class reunion. And I will leave this journal entry with that...................

WOW! Rough day at work today...My back pain is really draggin me down. I was pretty good with the whole eating thing, but I know tomorrow one of the other managers has to bring bagels in for saying a bad word in the meeting and THATS gonna be rough! I love a good bagel with cream cheese! Oh, well....Maybe I can get someone to split one with me and then I can put a little cream cheese on it. The Kashi Sweet & Sour Chicken for lunch today was really good!!! I will have to get more of them and also try some of the other varieties...Very tasty!
I am not very witty this evening, but maybe tomorrow will be better...lol.

I found out from my friend "Yankeegirl" that the Susan G Koman 5k is in Boise in May! Talked to another friend of mine who is a breast cancer survivor and she wants to start a team! I am very excited about this. I want to get to the point that I can RUN in it! I guess math was never my forte' and I am wondering how many miles 5k is? lol I will start training tomorrow by starting in the Challenge I joined! If anyone reads my little ol' journal entry and they would like to join us, that would be great! Message me for more info. I will post more as I find out more and after we sign up for a team online!
