Just received my blood test results...everything has come back to normal except for my A1c. It was a tad high but is coming down by 1.3 points from 3 months ago. I'm seeing changes because I'm changing my eating habits, learning the difference between true hunger and appetite. now because I have the knowledge and tools now to do better. L2L...live to love!

Today is my first day of sugar boot camp. No sugar of ANY kind, nothing sweet, no baked goods, no starches of ANY kind. well. certain fruits I can have. No alcohol at all, don't drink anyways. This will last for 10 days. I have eaten pretty good all day, not hungry. I have to do something about my health. Other diets I've tried did not work for me cause my sugar stayed high no matter what. So far today I've watched my numbers come down! Haven't seen that in a long time. it's not about weight loss for me anymore...its about coming off all these meds, getting right, eating healthy.

I feel good about this. it's been tough, but setting new goals every week and meeting them feels better than this loss...almost!! I think things are going pretty good.

not surprised...holidays are hard though I still tried to have no sweets, no table sugar, but there was a lot of food...back on the wagon
