112.4 this morning. Not too bad.
Ate well yesterday, and went for a four mile run- which I really needed. Ack, I was so crabby after work- it felt fabulous to run. Four miles, 8 minutes 59 seconds per mile... not my fastest but I was able to run without stopping for more than maybe 20 seconds or so.
Do you guys have to deal with people yelling from their cars at you?
I am beginning to see why gyms may be nice- but there is a gorgeous nature trail right by my apartment that is perfect walking warm up/cool down distance and it just seems silly to pay for something that I have for free and is even more convenient than a gym.
I have no idea what was yelled at me yesterday- a few months ago I had some jerk yell "what a cow" from his truck when I was walking back home so now I keep the music loud enough to not hear what is being yelled.
At least I am doing something about it you redneck. Anyhow, hubby and I are trying to form better eating habits which include eating at the dining room table. It is amazing how much more time we feel like we have for each other when we turn off the TV and move to the kitchen (in our apartment we are only talking about 2 feet) and it is fun to catch up on each other's day.
Since hubby and I were stuck in the airport for our birthdays, I am considering throwing a small b-day party for ourselves. But then I have to bake a cake (not being able to eat gluten means there is no where near where we live that I can get a cake). And, being realistic, there will also be alcohol involved.
I could pledge to stay away from cake and alcohol during the party.
No, no it's not.
Ah, to party or not to party. It is always so much fun to have friends over for card games. Maybe I could just skip the cake. After watching Cake Boss on Netflix any cake I make would look like it belongs in the garbage anyhow, LOL!!!!
Things I am happy about:
- sweaters (it is freezing in the office today)
- aspirin facials (stress is making me break out)
- hubs and pups
- coffee
- my morning shake (how can I be sad about chocolate every morning?)
- made plans to meet up with a friend for coffee on Friday
- made plans to meet up with a friend for lunch on Thursday
