Trying out this site for the first time today. I had lost 115lbs previously on the LS site, but going back there, all the suggested items were store bought and very few fresh which is how I love to cook. Hoping this will also help me stay true and honest with my daily eating. Started last week but had a severe gout flareup and missed a couple days of work. Back at it again starting Monday. So far feeling good and my lunch of a tortilla wrap with grilled chicken, hummus, shredded Brussel sprouts, and a topping of quick pickled jalapeno, onion and cilantro was amazing.

The next couple days will be challenging because I have to travel for work and will need to plan meals accordingly. I did it before and will do it again!

I travel for work too! Just have to order grilled stuff and veggies and salads a lot ! Breakfast is tuff unless you stay at Hamptons they serve eggs and bacon every morning for free which is a huge plus!!!! And they have a workout room on site so you walk treadmill or free weights

Thanks for the comment. I remembered from last time to schedule hotels that had healthy breakfast options and have planned for places to eat where I know they have the grilled offerings as you mentioned without much objection. I used to do a lot of volunteer work with bikers and spent a lot of time on the road trying to figure out the healthy way to eat at greasy spoons. Just looking at this as a fun thing to try again.

Looking forward to sharing them. I make my own spice rubs also, but will need to get the ingredients put in here before I can post. For now, one ingredient that I use that adds that little extra where people have no idea it's in there is dried portabella mushroom powder. Very few calories added, smells bad in powder form, but a little pinch and roll in into the roof of the mouth and you will see that umami flavor that it will add.
