Last couple days have been a bit challenging to stick with the meal plans. My ex has been allowing our son to miss copious amounts of school and homework during his time with her which has caused the school to prepare for legal actions including truancy. We have joint and shared custody and he has only 2 missed days in 2 years with me I might add. She has now for some reason started to violate the custody agreement allowing our son to miss more stuff and I finally had to hire a lawyer so that I can get him for more time and ensure that he attends school and keeps up with his grades. Needless to say, the stress of it all and his unhappiness of being held to task has really made me want to stress eat. I have done well most the week, but last night did overindulge a little. I managed to stop, but still felt guilty about it. I will say though, I still managed to see another lb drop off.

That however is another thing I admit that I feel a bit guilty for as easy as the weight comes off for me. The last time I lost about 1lb per day and did not expect that eight years older and a couple major injuries later, that it would even start as quickly as it has. I see all these people struggling with loosing and while feeling fortunate, wish that it was quick for them too. Yes, I am expecting it to slow down and even hit some plateaus, but for now, will just accept it as it is. For now, I will just keep on eating healthy, make sure to eat at regular times, and keep myself from feeling hungry.

I will say though that today has been a bit nice. We had a catered lunch yesterday with Greek pita bread and Mediterranean seasoned beef and chicken and we still have leftovers today. Slapped on a dollop of hummus and some lettuce, has been a bit of a healthy and tasty treat, all on the company dime :) Great start to a healthy day.
