Today was W5D2 of C25K. I was really nervous today about running 8 minutes straight....twice. Well, to my amazement....I DID IT! The first 8 minutes was actually a breeze! It was over before I knew it. The second 8 minute run was a little tough, especially the last 4 or 5 minutes of it. But I pushed myself and made it through it. Very proud of myself. Wednesday will be the last day of week 5, and the program for that day is to run (jog) 20 minutes straight! AHHHHH!!! I don't know about that yet. I am going to give it my all and hopefully do it, if not, I will just repeat that day until I can run for 20 minutes straight. But I am pretty sure I can do it. Also, today I am making some baked apple chips, I am hoping that will help with my sweet tooth at night.
Just a note: Had to add this to my journal so I can look back and remember this...Nick made a prediction that Miguel Cabrerra will have a good season and Carlos Guillen will have a horrible season. Nick always makes these crazy predictions, so I am gonna start writing them down!
