I'm starting the Atkin's diet tomorrow and I'm going to stick with it! I have to. Not only for weight loss but for my health. I am insulin resistance and have high insulin levels. My doctor says if I don't change my diet or take meds to control insulin, I will most likely become diabetic. I tried the meds and they made me very sick. So I am going to a low carb/low sugar diet. But my biggest problem is Soda Pop! Sprite to be exact. I tried the low carb a couple months ago and did great for 4 days, but then crashed because I am addicted to Sprite. Any suggestions?? I thought about Diet Sprite. Will that hurt my weight loss on Atkins? I don't like the taste of diet, but I guess I can at least try it when I'm having a craving.
