I believe fresh peaches are relatively low carb.

Although I love fruit, I rarely eat it. It will make me gain or stay the same. I am not there yet.

I eat all fruit except bananas and grapefruit, but generally only two portions per day, because of the sugar content. I think veg and salads are better to get nutrients and fibre without so much sugar. It's just my opinion, though.

If I eat fruit, I don't lose weight, so the fruit should wait for maintenance phase. I've been eating berries this week and put on almost two lbs, even though I'm eating below RDI calories. It seems a clear connection for me at the moment.

Weight watchers allows plenty of fruit, but very low fat, so that's the trade-off. Carbs or fat, but not both.

I suppose you look for lower sugar fruits which would likely be lower carbs. NOT super sweet like mango or pineapple;but maybe apples, kiwi, peach...?

H-E-B has plums, grapes, peaches, pears, apples, oranges, blackberries, melons, and mangoes in their circular this week. All fairly low in calories, watch your portion size and the sugars shouldn't sneak up on you.

I eat one apple per day. I like natural peanut butter on them too. I think the are one of the best fruits in regards to glycemic index. I love blueberries and raspberries for the antioxidants. Watermelon is a must during the summer months. Philmck is correct about the portions, but I think that can be applied to most if not all foods you are eating.

Good point CatHerder. I didn't realize how many different sorts of apples there were until I moved to Europe. Pink Lady=my favorite.

Rckc got it right. I get mine from a Mexican place that makes them on premises, those chingadas you get in a plastic bag from Frito Lay pale in comparison.

I like the tangerines, and those cuties, all of those little oranges. I eat sweet peas raw. I still have an avocado, and grapes too.
