So of course I had to take a whole cooked ham out of the freezer, which is a little too much for the 2 of us. What did I do? I found a bread machine recipe for ham and cheese stuffed rolls, which I am in the process of making. Thank goodness it states that you can freeze the rolls, so I can use some will power tonight to eat only one roll. The rest of the ham will be made into ham and eggs. I'm still going to stick to my large salad tonight. I find the fiber to be much more filling than the protein, but that's just me. Made it through yesterday eating a salad for lunch and a salad for supper. For the first time yesterday, hubby said he was impressed with me because I outlasted him doing yard work. It made me happy, but in reality I was just watering the plants, the garden, and putting the grass clippings around the tomatoes. Hubby did the hard part of mowing the lawn.
