Coming up on another challenging weekend. Going to see my grandchildren.
I love Hardees breakfast biscuits. They have closed all the Hardees near us so when we visit the kiddies it is always a special treat for us to stop and have biscuits. I usually have 2; bacon egg and cheese biscuit and a sausage biscuit (I know...I'm a pig!). Then there's usually fast-food for lunch and a big dinner out with lots of snacks in between.
My plan of attack is to eat my breakfast before I leave and forego my precious biscuits. 😟😟😟😯😯😯. If we have fast-food for lunch I will choose a salad with very little dressing. For dinner I will choose a grilled protein and veggies or another salad. (I love salad. Could eat them every day.) And NO snacks unless it's fruit.
My exercise will not be a problem. My granddaughter and I always go for a walk thru the neighborhood.
So......this is my plan.

It's always good to have a plan. And to know the reason for the plan. When I went to visit my sis a few months ago, I told her in advance I wouldn't be having certain things and I would purchase my own food substitutes (apple instead of cake, etc.). Further, I reminded myself that these were choices (not restrictions) for my nurturing and health. And, dear friend, I'd like to make a request: please don't call yourself a pig. I wouldn't let someone else say that about a friend in front of or behind her back. I hope you treasure you as much. :-)
