If I can just make it thru the weekend. This is always a trouble spot for me. I do well all week and usually screw up all the good I've done. Say a little prayer for me. 😟😟

Yeah, I am with ya. The weekends have always proved a challenge for me. I'm trying to plan my meals throughout the week so that I know what's permitted....Doesn't always work but I'm learning.

I agree. You have to splurge alittle bit as well or the diet becomes a torture. Breaking out of the calorie wall is sometimes needed for sanity. You can always go back to it the next day.

I eat several small meals throughout the day but I'll eat even smaller portions if I know I'm going to an event where there's going to be "scary" food. Like this weekend, I've got a Packers party to go to - I'm sure everyone knows how football-fan-food-events can be - so I'll eat minimally for all of my other meals of the day - PLUS, I'll try hard to make sure I at least get a good work out in sometime before the days end..This way I won't have any guilt ;-)

We are going out today to celebrate my wife's being selected as Teacher of the Year at her school.(I'm very proud of her!) Anyway, I have been worried about where would be the best place to go and what to get. We are both trying to get rid of more than a few and our trips to town do not feel right without a food stop and a Starbucks run while we are out!! Living 30 minutes from "town", we try to limit trips to Saturday and have formed a bad habit. It is worse when we are broke because then it's fast food. Today's goal is to make good decisions and use restraint! Good Luck to all!!

ah yes, weekends. well, i've been fighting feeling ill most of the week and I haven't done so well in the challenge with recording what I eat plus I haven't walked Fri/Sat/Sun. I'll see how it goes when I weigh in tomorrow morning...
