Trying to find foods to eat that aren't unhealthy. Problem: 1. I hate veggies. Nearly all of them. 2. I don't like many fruits. 3. I have "Textural Aversion", many things feel 'wrong' in my mouth and I can't eat them (Will throw up on the spot if I can't immediately get rid of whatever it is.) 4. I have Fibromyalgia, Narcolepsy, Anxiety, Depression, IBS, Severe RLS, Migraines, Degenerative Disk Disease, High Cholesterol and most recently High Blood Pressure and I'm on meds for all. 5. I have a very hard time moving, walking, sitting, standing, etc. Meds cause weight gain, without meds, I don't function. Catch 22.

Welcome Sandra🤗😊 you are not alone in your medical conditions here. As a matter of fact if someone commented on your post who happened to have 1 or 2 of what you listed, you would be overwhelmed. So, you’re not alone. # 1: your here for a reason, so you have to put in some kind of work. #2: There are diseases and ailments that no matter who says, can not be cured, ailments may lesson. #3: you can absolutely drop your blood pressure and cholesterol levels and HA1C levels over time with healthy eating and just walking if that is all you can do and rid yourself of hypertension and hyperlipidemia, but never cure a sugar issue💪🙌. You are here because you want a change. You listed a bunch of ailments and limitations. Well, time to bend and learn yummy foods, and seize the day... days. It’s not a diet, it’s a lifestyle change and you can do this.

I have some of those listed, but I chose last year to do something. I lowered my blood pressure and my cholesterol is getting there. I have heart, lung issues and fibromyalgia and RA and I still show up every day and journal even in a flare or super ill, I still try food wise. I probably sound harsh and that’s not what I’m trying to do, but I’m not gonna let you off the hook on what you can do and you don’t need to hear that you can cure some of these either because some you can and others you can not. Just choose to be around and a better you.

Hi I have fibromyalgia for decades and nerve pinched pains&sciatica( disc plans in neck& back) occasionally which yoga helps with. Have u try beginner level yoga? There are plenty poses gentle enough for me. I notice with low impact exercises, my flare ups happens less&less. Just have to push thru some pain to get there. Some days I cut back on exercise but still moving around some. Swimming is awesome for fibromyalgia&arthritis too. My current gym don't have one but at old gym I used the pool often. Btw do u like juices? Some healthy juices don't have texture, like, V-8 which is my old fave. Try vitamin shakes if u are worried about nutrition\ vitamin deficiency?

I agree. I believe I have some 🧘🏻‍♀️ poses I can share. I’m a firm believer in not giving up, but I’m also a person who likes to help those with disabilities as well, I have disabilities and a lot of my friends on here do too, don’t let it define you!😊 find your ☀️ ☀️💪💪

Hi! I wish you success in your new journey. Fibromyalgia, cholesterol, depression, and maybe other ailments you mention have been linked to a diet high in carbohydrates. Regarding fibromyalgia, I know my aunt’s symptoms improve with low impact exercise (she practices aquagym) and a low carb diet
