We tried baking our sausage patties for breakfast. They were okay but not too bad. Hubby does things a bit different than perhaps I would have but I'm glad he tried something different. Most important, He is trying. That's what matters to me. For dinner, I used canned chicken, rinsed off the fat and replaced the flavors in the chicken and dumplings with spices and seasonings. Made drop dumplings with GV Baking Mix. Turned out great and easy. A nice quick dinner since we had guests in. Side dish was mixed fruit of halo oranges, two kinds of apples and banana. Went over very well, tasted great and was pretty low fat and low cal. Win-Win.

Appreciate all the support everyone has given.
Rough night, awake and up about every 2 hrs. but got to keep moving. Put in more exercise today, looking forward to youngest childs wedding on the 25th.
Someone suggested drinking my veggies. I will definitely give that a try. Not crazy about V-8 but I can handle it. Will try making a few of my own with tomato juice and maybe some smoothies. Grew up in a meat and potatoes household and have been trying to get away from some of that. Using more spices, less carbs. Exercise is tough now due to location and weather (we live waaaayyy out in the country, no gyms close) Hubby got a stationary bike, going to make him share. Thanks for the encouragement.

Trying to find foods to eat that aren't unhealthy. Problem: 1. I hate veggies. Nearly all of them. 2. I don't like many fruits. 3. I have "Textural Aversion", many things feel 'wrong' in my mouth and I can't eat them (Will throw up on the spot if I can't immediately get rid of whatever it is.) 4. I have Fibromyalgia, Narcolepsy, Anxiety, Depression, IBS, Severe RLS, Migraines, Degenerative Disk Disease, High Cholesterol and most recently High Blood Pressure and I'm on meds for all. 5. I have a very hard time moving, walking, sitting, standing, etc. Meds cause weight gain, without meds, I don't function. Catch 22.

I hate being fat. I hate how I look and how I feel. My new motto is: 1 less and 1 more.
1 less bite, 1 less cigarette, 1 less pill. 1 more step, 1 more hill, 1 more thing done.
