2/25/13 I know we are not to weight ourselves more ofter than once a week for obvious reasons, however since I began this journey and changed my eating habits, I am down .6 oz. My caloric intake is much lower than the first day, I don't feel hungry and I am not craving anything.
Went to the market today and while the cart wasn't full, I had four bags that cost over $100.00. I am not complaining; I know organics cost more than non-organics, I am just happy to know that my food trip yielded perhaps 6 items that are considered processed foods.
This journey is about wholesome foods and back to basic food preparation. So along the way, I will loose unwanted weight and get better foods.
I don't mean to sound as if I don't know my way around the kitchen; quite the contrary. For many years I was a caterer; I still bake breads (without a bread maker) and create vegetarian entrees from scratch basics for special occasions.
My family is predominately vegetarian and have been for more than twenty, even thirty years.
Until tomorrow,Today I am encouraged!
